The leads break easily and the colors are too light. You won't see anything written with these leads.

Cheap breakable leads and not the labeled colors either. Very difficult to lay down much color without breaking lead. The color labeled Mint Blue is a dark blue, The Violet is not violet at all, but a light blue-grey. The yellow leads are labeled Orange- there are no orange leads. I would rate even lower than 2 stars, but for my needs I use dark blue, red and green, all of which are included (2 leads per each dispenser).

Never seen colored lead before... apparently neither have any of the local kids. Ordered these without telling my kids, they were super excited when it arrived. They’ve been a huge hit amongst their friends at school as well.

The lead is very poor quality. It breaks very easily and I have to remember not to project the lead up too far to control the breakage. I use the colored lead to draft patterns and I use brown craft paper.

I liked the colors. The actual pencil was short, though.

These refills break very easily, even though the colors are nice.
