Yes the seeds are viable... I got sprouts right away. came packaged in a cute setup and it was easy to set up and get going on my indoor herb garden!

Ridiculously easy to grow! My plants are HUGE !! Be sure to space them apart pretty well after transplanting! Also most of them (4/5) will come back next year! Happy planting

Honestly, this kit is super cute. I think some of the seeds may have been older but, overall I really enjoyed starting my plants with this kit. This would be an excellent gift for anyone. My little sprouts are taking off! The rosemary wouldn’t budge but, still worth it!

This was the perfect gift for my apartment-bound son, who is a chef. Fresh herbs in the winter? Yes, please! The grow kit came with easy to understand instructions and everything you need to start your indoor garden. Perfect selection of herbs and a nice value for the price.

I really wanted the thyme and sage seeds to sprout but no dice. The Basil and Jalapeño seeds are SUPER viable. The Rosemary didn’t sprout either, but I’ve never been able to successfully grow that herb in my entire life so it’s probably me.

Thi was a gift for my son in Northern California sea coast. He reported all the herbs are up and doing good.

I will probably try again at some point, but even with a grow light, none of them have sprouted.

I was surprised at how small the pots were. I also did not know that I would have to wait until spring so the seedlings could be replanted to develop into full size. I also expected the kit to provide a tray on which to set the pots. Very disappointed by the deception of the on line description.
