SleepRight Dura-Comfort Dental Guard Mouth Guard To Prevent Teeth Grinding No Boil Super Strong With Mint

I was nervous at first buying a mouth guard since there are so many to choose from. I would choose this one over and over again though. I love it! I clench my teeth and grind too. I would have such terrible pain and headaches every day. After using this, my pain is gone! The first day I woke up and my jaw was actually relaxed, and it felt amazing! It's durable. I have had it for 3 months now and it's still in great shape. It's comfortable, and we'll worth the money.

This came highly recommended from my chiropractor because she felt like I was clenching my jaw at night quite a bit and causing neck problems. I really did not enjoy using it though. It was so bulky and really not too flexible when in the mouth. I'm sure this is quite functional but not at all comfortable. a

My dentist recommended it, so I had him make me a custom dental guard for about $400. The dog ate it (really - apparently pets like their masters' scents and it turns out these are very attractive). So I had another one made for another ~$400. I kept it out of reach of the dog but I eventually chewed it up, so it was time for another. I love my dentist but this time I did some shopping and went through a couple of the kind you boil in hot water and/or otherwise mess around with to prepare for use and was completely dissatisfied. Then I stumbled on this item on sale somewhere and THIS IS IT folks.

Unfortunately I need to use this dental guard every day, or else I would grind down not only all of my teeth, but also my jaw, skull, and eventually my spine. It certainly was less comfortable when I started using the Dura Comfort, but after a few months it's nothing. Sleep Right's other slimmer, softer alternative version is less noticeable but erodes very quickly compared to Dura Comfort. I would recommend simply getting yourself accustomed to the Dura Comfort because it last much longer - I think I could use one Dura Comfort for about two years before the bitepiece cracks and is not usable, whereas I'd grind through a Slim Confort in about 3 months.

I've been wearing night guards for several years due to excessive grinding. My last set was starting to irritate the inside of my lower lip, so I thought that this item would be perfect, since it isn't bulky in the front part of the mouth. I got it, and was excited to try it. When I put it in to do the fitting it seemed to fit fine as it was, but the part that is supposed to go around your front teeth didn't seem like it fit great, but the packaging says that it reacts with your body heat and forms to your mouth shape after a few minutes, so I didn't think much of it. I used it the first night and I kept waking up because the super advanced, body heat reacting band that is supposed to fit so well kept getting loose and wrapping around my tongue, and the pivoting plates were too high against my gums, making it rub where my lip meets it. I figured that maybe I had adjusted it incorrectly, so I tightened it up and gave it another shot the next night, and the same thing happened. The next morning my naughty dog got it off my bed stand, and I just threw it away. Don't waste your money.

night guards are so individual specific. I enjoy this one because it's not too thick and fit well. Does fall out once in a while. For an unprofessionally dental-made guard this is cheap and works.

I ordered two Dura Comfort 7x stronger and was sent two 4x stronger. this doesn't sound like a big deal but it is. the 7x stronger will last 6 months or more. the 4x stronger I have had for 2 weeks and sadly im already biting through it. if I had not been desperate I could have sent them back. Frustrated.

This is a good product and works better than the expensive anti-grinding device the dentist made me. The more expensive mouth guard was hard plastic and really hurt my mouth. This works and is pro-active if you read the instructions on how to train yourself to stop grinding by wearing this one half hour before sleep and sensing and stopping yourself every time you bite into it. Then wear it for your night of sleep. I must admit I used to wear the smaller size and it fit perfectly. But it would fall out in the middle of the night. So I bought the larger size and it stays in. A bit of the plastic loops outside of my mouth but I do not care--this works better than anything else I have tried to stop grinding and protect yourself when you do.
