Collins Language Revolution: Spanish

My students really enjoy their 'out of class' work with this book; however, the speaker talks just a little fast for their non-Spanish-speaking ears. The material is clever, useful and presented logically and well.

I like this book. The tapes were very helpful. My class will not be using this book again because it is out of print.

This is such a fun book for learning spoken Spanish. UNFORTUNATELY, they have stopped printing it. Boo! Very disappointing. My adult students absolutely love this method.

There are two versions of this book (with 2 CDs) and nowhere in the description of this product on Amazon did it state that. We discovered we had purchased the South American version when we put the CD on. We ended up ordering the version for Spain as well. I only managed to work out which was the correct version because a friend of mine had it and showed me what the cover looked like! I was annoyed that Amazon had not indicated the type of Spanish in their description of the book: it would have saved me time and money!Otherwise, the concept of the book is good, my friend swears by it!

I have been learning Spanish for about 5-6 years and have always been a great fan of mindmaps so was very interested when I came across this book to see if the method would help me with vocabulary that was more advanced and extensive than a primer like this was intended for.I have found the method interesting and reckon I will put it into practice as I go forward.I was however surprised to find a/ that the Spanish being taught had a Latin American (rather than Castillian) slant and the English voices on the CDs have American accents.None of the blurb that I had seen on the Amazon site had prepared me for that.It is nevertheless a comprehensive and useful first introduction and did achieve my objective of understanding how Tony Buzan has applied mind mapping to language learning.I am happy with my purchase because I have acheived my intended objectives!
