Good earrings, damaged packaging
I bought these as a gift and though the earrings are nice the gift box arrived ruined and I couldn't get a replacement, meaning I couldn't gift it! Disappointing

Not 'gold' - gold plated
I dislike something being described in the main headline - all you might see if buying as a lightening deal, for example - as 22 carat gold, when it is no such thing. It is gold plated.If you are happy with this, fine, but please make sure you read the full description first so that you know that you are getting silver with a teeny layer of gold - not actual gold all the way through.I would much prefer to drop to 9ct but at least have it solid. Or wear silver as silver. Call me cynical, but this feels to me as if it is being marketed in the hope no-one notices they're not getting the real thing. They do not seem to be good value for money at all.Edit: delighted to see that the heading for these has changed and that it is now clear that these earrings are gold-plated, not solid. Gold-plated is a much more honest term that 'vermeil', as they were previously described.
