Excellent capture card for content creators and gamers!
Recording quality is great for streaming and content creation. Value for the price we purchased it at is great. Easy to set up with gaming consoles or PC and works great with a chat link.

Great for capturing computer gameplay
It helps a lot with recording my computer setup with noticeably less strain on the processor, allowing for better recording and streaming on a lower-end computer. For the price, I would recommend it for anyone without an Nvidia graphics card or a higher-end processor who wants to capture their computer gameplay. I also recommend it because it alleviates the need for using your computer resources to record and you can get maximum gaming performance. Keep in mind that you still have to encode, which does take some resources, but overall, the price of this over new computer parts is better, in my opinion.

Terrible
Needs a chat link cable still and on top of that it doesn’t work with wireless headsets forcing me to use my Razer Nommo V4 Pro speakers for the PS5Pro. I refunded- going to wait until capture cards are MORE INNOVATIVE and doesn’t need a chat link cable and wired headsets to work.

Great…after DAYS of troubleshooting
This was most definitely not plug and play. My setup consists of a M1 Mac Studio with capture coming from the PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X via OBS. After watching several videos and trial runs, I was able to finally find the right settings for my setup. I kept either getting very grainy video output or popping noises from the encoding process. Now that it’s setup and working, it’s a dream and works well for my content creation. Hence the 4 stars…YouTube: MuzzleTov Gaming

A high-end card for your high-end desires
If you like to make content but want all the features in one external card, this is for you. This has helped me be able to record, stream, and show my gameplay to my pc whether it’s for calls with friends, or just to have it display on my desktop. The software it uses is also extremely easy to use so there won’t be any difficulty there. I do recommend using this if you have a device that can handle it because in order to use the full potential of this card, you need a usb 3.2 port as usb 3.1 has some moments where the card shows some stuttering and any lower form of usb will eliminate some formats for recording and output. Other than that it is worth the amount I paid for this.

Best External Capture Card in the Market.
Elgato has always made quality video capture tools, and this is no different. I've always used internal capture cards to record content, and wanted an external capture card to be able to take on the road. This was easy to set up and update. Being able to record in 4k120 with HDR on an external capture card is amazing, and the video and audio quality is perfect.

Absolutely love it! I’ve had no issues so far and I’ve had it for about a month. Easy to set up and pair with my MacBook and Xbox
