I bought two of these--the pliers version and the scissors/shears version.As others have stated, this is not your run-of-the-mill multi-tool. They have more "specialty" tools than your typical blades, saws, bit drivers, etc. The scalpel is a nice touch as is the package opener. I think I will use both of those.Than being said, I like the pliers version better than the scissors version. Both are spring loaded and I find that the scissors version opens too widely for my small to medium hands to grip properly. In fact, every time I try to cut something I seem to pinch my hand. The pliers version does not open as widely and is easier to use. I just got them a couple days ago and I may return the scissors version.I think the quality and the fit and finish is good quality. I have no complaint about quality control and the price is certainly right on these tools.

Bibury quality and innovation continues to amaze me. When you hold this little guy in your hand and use the shears for the first time you'll understand what I'm talking about. Leatherman should be afraid, very afraid.

I have a lot of leatherman and gerber multi tools with pliers so I got the one with shears. Good shears and I love that it has a scalpel. A little too big and heavy for a key chain so I put a lanyard on it.

Medical shears cut through a penny...nuff said. On the heavy side for EDC but compact enough to put in your personal med kit or keep in your car or truck cup holder. Worth having a long for the ride.

First of all, for the price, this is a steal. I wish some other multitools would try the large serrated scissors, especially for things like electrical snips. That would be bomb. Anyway, this is kinda perfect for an emergency first aid kit. Only tool I've seen with a scalpel blade, and it comes with two replacements. Nothing locks in place, which is fine. The flaws of the tool are that it's easy to pinch yourself using the scissors, the outer tools are sometimes difficult to get out, and doesn't quite fold up perfectly flush. It's well made though, and solid form factor. That said, it's a darn good tool for your collection or emergency/survival kit. Nothing else quite like it.

There's not much I like about these, to be frank. I knew I was taking a chance on a new brand, but I had higher hopes.The scissors, which are supposed to be the star of the show here, don't spring back on their own; you have to push them open after contracting them. They have a "spring" type of function built in, it just doesn't work on its own. That was the first letdown for me.The scalpel is sharp, yes, but too sharp and too fine for a multitool IMO. I would have preferred a basic knife blade instead. With the scalpel I risk cutting myself more often and more severely than the thing I'd potentially want to cut with it. It's also a bit painful to close because the very thin back edge and how much pressure all of the implements on this tool require to move them.The sharpened hook edge was manufactured poorly and is jagged out of the box.I've already chipped my fingernail in two places trying to pry open the tools, and that was in the first 20 minutes. I knew these were nail nick tools, but these are the most shallow and narrow nicks I've seen on a tool.I still haven't gotten the "keychain" "tool" deployed yet because it's so small and resistant to opening. I tried prying that open with another multitool (the far superior SOG Powerpint), and it still won't budge.So overall this was a bad first experience with Bibury. Hopefully the brand will mature and they'll put out better tools. The problem here is that nothing about mine looks like it was a factory defect. I think it's just poor design and shoddy manufacturing.Even with the discount I was able to get ($19 instead of the usual $27), these were overpriced. I'll probably throw them in my car for emergencies, but even then, I don't think they'll actually help me out in a pinch. If I was doing this over again, I'd have put this money towards a better tool from Roxon or Leatherman.
