Remember to keep your oxy/acetylene pressures in the proper range or like any rosebud tip it will create a backflash fire internally. I forgot this basic rule and my entire torch handle got too hot to hold in a matter of less than a minute. Keep in mind unlike the normal size rose bud tip this will not create the unique whistle sound, it just gets hot. Also please put safety first, especially when using this tip and install the flashback arrestors on the bottle side of the hoses. My tip still works and is fully functional even after my little mishap but it did discolor it. The handle and seals survived and work perfectly also. I just wanted everyone to know to keep the pressures up. I had it in my mind as a newcomer to the micro torch arena that a little torch meant I could use less pressure. Nope- less volume not less pressure- could have been an ugly mistake but was just a learning experience instead.
