High quality premium feel, with a ton of added functionality!
I've been a loyal buyer of Pitaka Cases and accessories for a few phone generations now. I always love the sleek, beautiful, and premium design of their cases. The aramid fiber always looks so nice on my flagship Samsung devices. I already have the 600D Black/Grey (Twill) Ultra-Slim Case and absolutely love it! It's been my favorite case series for all my galaxies. Then they released the Pin Button case for the S25 Ultra, and its functionality intrigued me, so I just had to give it a try. I think I have a new favorite case! It feels great in my hand. I miss having the wrap around aramid fiber on the sides, but the trade off feels more than worth it, with better protection from the TPU, and the inclusion of 3 programmable buttons. There isn't a noticeable seam between the aramid fiber and TPU, which I honestly I found pleasantly surprising, because I was afraid it would be a huge departure from the seamless all aramid fiber case. The soft Nappa leather lining really feels like it just wants to cradle and protect my phone. The exterior textures have just enough grippiness to not feel like it's going to slip out of my hand, although I always use some sort of magsafe grip as well. Pitaka makes grips that match the color scheme of your phone, which is great if you're a fan of matching accessories. And magsafe accessories stick really well to the case. Visually, the case is so slim that it adds almost zero bulk to the phone, and looks just as premium as the phone itself. It slides smoothly into my pocket and I can easily fit my phone in my Gamesir controller grip without having to remove the case, which is a huge plus! The only slight complaint I have, is that the Pinbuttons aren't always as responsive as I'd like, but they still work every time. Sometimes I just have to hold down the button a beat longer before it responds. So it's really not a big deal, and I honestly think it's more about how NFC behaves rather than any fault of the case. I currently have Calendar, Camera, and Samsung Health mapped to the buttons, but with using Samsung Routines, the possibilities are nearly infinite! You can map nearly any action or app to the buttons. I highly recommend this case!

Another Masterpiece.
I’ve been using Pitaka cases for years. Every time I upgrade my phone, I always come back to Pitaka. Their carbon fiber construction gives each case a premium look and feel. The cases are remarkably thin yet incredibly durable, and the design is consistently elegant. Recently, I upgraded from an older device to the newly released Galaxy S25 Ultra—and naturally, I chose the Pitaka PinButton Case. First introduced for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, this version has significantly improved its grip—one of the few weak points users noted in the previous model. This product features a brilliant idea: the PinButton system. Similar to the iPhone’s Action Button, it allows users to assign functions to physical buttons for quick access. The PinButton Case brings this feature to the Galaxy S25 Ultra through an innovative use of NFC technology. The three buttons located on the left side of the case use NFC tags, allowing you to assign frequently used features for instant access. Personally, I’ve assigned them to my most-used apps—weather, stock tracker, and maps—which has made my daily routine much more convenient. ⸻ Standout Features: a. Made from 1500D military-grade aramid fiber, this case is incredibly strong and reliable. b. The edges are lined with TPU material, which greatly enhances grip—there’s no slipping, and the overall quality feels excellent in hand. c. The button feedback is noticeably improved. While the previous PinButton case for the S24 Ultra had decent click response, the new version feels much more refined and satisfying to press. d. The case fits the Galaxy S25 Ultra perfectly. It’s so thin that there’s virtually no change in the phone’s thickness after installation. e. The MagSafe magnetic system remains excellent. Pitaka uses N52SH-grade magnets, which are thin yet powerful. Even when using the S25 Ultra’s built-in S Pen, there’s no interference or magnetic issues. f. The carbon woven back is intricately crafted and looks truly premium. g. The inside of the case is lined with soft Nappa leather, protecting the phone from any scratches during use. Final Thoughts: Once again, I’m completely satisfied with my Pitaka purchase. It’s thin, durable, stylish, and feels great in hand. While Pitaka cases may be priced slightly higher than others, the quality and functionality built into each one justify the cost. If you want to get the most out of your Galaxy S25 Ultra, I highly recommend this case.

Warped after 7 months
After 7 months, the case became warped, and doesn't protect my phone any longer. The upper right corner pops out of the case. Very expensive premium case that is less functional that others that were less than half the price. The magnetic back works well, and the extra buttons are helpful. But the main function, which is to protect my phone, is flawed.

The Greatest And Most Functional Phone Case Available for the S25 Ultra!
Pitaka has quickly become my favorite phone case company. I chose this case due to the functionality provided that no other phone case on the market can offer. There are three extra buttons on the left side of the case that can be programmed to do just about anything. It is so convenient to be able to press a button and instantly be able to record audio without having to find the audio recording app in my phone. Pressing another button brings up my security cameras for my home so I can instantly see what's going on when I am away. My other button is programmed for Google Gemini so my AI assistant of choice is instantly available. As I said, the buttons can be programmed to do just about anything. They add so much more functionality to the phone! Not only does the phone case add those three extra buttons that no other phone case can provide, it is also MagSafe compatible which gives so many more options of accessories to use with the phone such as external wireless batteries, phone stands, and more! The case is raised in all the corners and has protected my phone already from several drops and there isn't a scratch on it. It also has easy access to the S Pen. After all the functionality I have mentioned, I forgot to mention the most surprising thing of all I enjoyed about this case that I didn't even consider when purchasing it... The design! I absolutely love the textured aramid fiber on the back of the case and just the minimalist feel. The way this case feels in the hand makes you feel like you have the most premium case available on the market today! I absolutely would and have recommended this case to many others and Pitaka will always be my phone case manufacturer of choice going forward!

Great Pin Button & Qi2 MagSafe Case, Minor Flaw for Price
TLDR: This is the best overall case for the S25 Ultra. Excellent customizable Pin Button and better MagSafe (surprisingly cooler accessories due to slight camera bump). However, visible quality issue on the corner for the premium price. The Good: * Back Swipe Gesture: One of the extremely few cases where the back gesture is not interrupted and leaves just enough room on the sides. * Fantastic Pin Button: Immediately worked. Customizable button adds significant convenience. * Better MagSafe & Cooler Accessories: Almost flush camera with a tiny bump seems to improve airflow, keeping Qi2 MagSafe accessories cooler during use. * Solid Protection: Feels sturdy and protective. * Premium Feel: Good materials and comfortable grip. * Precise Cutouts: Camera and ports are well-aligned. The Bad: * Visible Defect: Top left corner shows exposed phone frame (poor quality control). * Inconvenient Cleaning: Must remove entire case to wipe screen of stuck on dust/dirt. Other cases accommodate this by having a bump/cutout on a side portion of the case (Other Pitaka cases have this). Overall: This case stands out for its useful customizable Pin Button and the improved MagSafe experience thanks to the almost flush camera design, which surprisingly helps keep accessories cooler. While it offers good protection and a premium feel, the visible quality issue on the corner is a letdown considering the price.

Nice case with 1 fatal flaw
First the good: The case fits good. Feels good. The buttons are clicky and easy to press. I really have no complaints with build quality. The pin buttons are a neat idea and you can do so much in combination with modes and routines. For example, you could have it set up so that it will open an action list with all the screen timeout settings. Or you could use them in conjunction with home automation, like to open garage door, or turn on a light. The possibilities are staggering. Magnets are strong enough, though I wish they were strong enough to hold it to the fridge, but not a deal breaker. Now, to the bad. The pin buttons are too easy to press. So.... if you're like me and you set your phone on its side to watch YouTube, etc the buttons depress, activating whatever you have set up. If you flip it over, the power button depresses turning off the screen. So, in my "screen timeout" example. I set it up with the condition to be pressing the back button first, to avoid accidentally opening the action panel. Problem is, when you scan an nfc tag, or in this case, push one of the buttons, it makes YouTube and other apps close to a pop-up window. Really annoying. Only options are to turn off nfc, which disables the buttons, which makes the buttons not work. Then every time I want to use the pin buttons, I gotta turn nfc back on. To go to that much trouble, I might as well just do the action from phone itself. My recommendations to Pitaka are simple. Raise the rubber around the buttons so that the buttons don't protrude. They could also add a button on the other side that, when pressed would compete the circuits of the other buttons. This way, you would have to push that trigger button, at the same time as the pin buttons. But, if they just raised the rubber around the pin buttons, that would suffice and not raise the cost of the case much. Unfortunately, I have to return this case and I hope they fix it in the future. I really wanted to like it.

Pitaka S25 Ultra PinButton: Sleek Protection with an added bonus
Pitaka S25 Ultra PinButton: Sleek Protection with an added bonus The Pitaka S25 Ultra PinButton case offers a compelling blend of premium materials and minimalist design for Samsung's flagship. Crafted from aramid fiber, it feels incredibly light yet surprisingly robust. The sleek texture provides excellent grip without adding bulk, a welcome change from many bulky protective cases. While not as thin as the non pinbutton cases it does feel like it will offer a little protection. The signature "PinButton" system is a standout feature. A quick scan of the nfc tag in the case takss you to instructions to setup the routine to make the buttons work. Really nice feature i didnt imagine how useful it would be until i was running complex routines with a quick press of a button. The feel of the button is also nice and the ho.e and volume buttons through the case retain a quality feel possibly even better that the phones button without a case. The cutouts are precise, providing easy access to ports and the S Pen. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging work flawlessly with the case. However, the premium materials come at a premium price, making it a significant investment. While the case offers scratch and minor drop protection, those seeking rugged, heavy-duty defense might need to look elsewhere. **Pros:** * Lightweight and slim design * Excellent grip * Premium aramid fiber material * Customizable PinButtons * Precise cutouts * Wireless charging compatible and magsafe **Cons:** * Expensive * Offers moderate, not heavy-duty, protection * pinbuttons have a slight rattle to them in really quiet environments. **Verdict:** The Pitaka S25 Ultra PinButton case is a stylish and well-crafted option for users who prioritize a slim profile and premium feel over maximum protection. The customizable buttons add a unique touch. However, the high price point and moderate protection level might not appeal to everyone.

Nice NFC Features however Mine Failed just a couple days over a month
Ordered October 12th. November 14th the 3 NFC buttons are no longer working. We'll see if Pitaka stands behind their product and if so, I'll update my review. It was cool while it worked. The 3 additional NFC buttons located on the Left side of the case were programmable to do whatever you wanted. I set mine up for: Top = Launch a often used app. Middle = Launch Google Maps (Basically another often used app) Bottom = Take a screen shot Like I said it was really cool while it worked, so I hope they'll stand behind the product. I'm a little uneasy though if it failed this quick. It makes me think it's not a very durable product. The phone case itself is nice. It's low profile, although I'm also unsure how much protection it actually offers. I do like the slim/low profile of the case though, as long as it offers adequate protection.
