I usually don't like to switch things up and test different scents
I usually don't like to switch things up and test different scents, as it is very difficult to find a scent that works well for each individual. I decided to give this one a chance, as it came in a small enough bottle, and came from a brand "The Art of Shaving" which I have had some personal positive experiences with in the past.Out of the box, it is your standard cologne spray. Upon spraying, it has, in my opinion, what I like to describe as "A Fresh Scent". It has a subtle citrus smell, that just makes me feel refreshed and clean. Seems against the grain for what I would typically like prefer in a Men's cologne, but at the end of the day, I like it. Speaking of the end of the day, it seems to last for quite a while. I spray on lightly in the morning, and when I get home from work and change, I can still get a hint of the aroma.

Smells like a fancy resort lobby. Which is super clean and awesome!!!
SMELLS AMAZING!-I had my doubts about this one. I have never bought cologne online before. I took a chance here and I am glad I did!-This cologne comes in a 1 ounce bottle in a black box. It's a nice small size so you can easily pack it into your small bag with all your toiletries in it when you travel.-The scent is unlike any I've ever owned. I usually go for those woodsy colognes. This is super fresh; it has a lemony or lemongrass vibe to it - that is quite strong. Maybe a hint of lavender in there. I don't know. I'm old. What do I know? Hey you know what it smells like? Like a fancy hotel lobby. You know what I mean? OH - I know - Like a resort lobby! Like you're checking into a nice all-inclusive (adults only I hope) resort and you're sitting in the lobby with the little koi pond and they hand you some fruity weird drink as you hand over your credit card: THAT LOBBY is what this stuff smells like! I've been searching for that for ages actually! And now I have it! Anyhow - it smells super clean and fresh and I highly recommend it!!!!

Floral Fragrances For Dudes? You Bet!
The Art of Shaving's Bergamot and Neroli, Cologne Intense, is just that. It's quite intense. The scent is strong but not overbearing and my wife really likes it when I wear this stuff (and ultimately that is what matters most). The citrus notes and slightly floral fragrance are nice but I can see where some men might be a bit afraid to wear this cologne since it might threaten their machismo. If that's the case, buck up, buttercup. This stuff smells excellent and any man would be happy to wear it for themselves and for others. The scent is long lasting in my opinion. I applied some last night after showering and at almost twelve hours later (and a full night's sleep), the scent is still evident. This really is a nice, unique cologne. It's not what I would classify as a classic manly scent, but it's definitely an intriguing one.

nice smell, but pricey
My coworker sometimes wears cologne that smells nice and fancy. I have always wanted to ask him what brand he wears. But today, I found out the smell of this Bergamot & Neroli from the Art of Shaving is just like the one my coworker wears. To me, this cologne is not that intense, but it lasted long hours. Reviewing any beauty products is very subjective matter, so it is not that easy to be 100% objective, but this cologne to me has has somewhat luxurious smell that is not too popular and too common. It’s nice to wear a non sporty kind of scent sometimes to differentiate the usual smell. So I like the scent that’s not so overpowering at first but lasts gently throughout the day. At the time of writing this, it is currently priced at $60, and I do think it’s little bit pricey. This cologne is reasonably priced and smells pleasing but not overwhelming.

A boring bergamot
My favorite scent is Interlude by Amouage . It takes the floral sweetness of bergamot and combines it with a rich base, with intoxicating results. The Art of Shaving's bergamot cologne is not so thrilling. There's an initial acridness to it that makes me think of mosquito repellent. After that wears off, you'll smell like Earl Grey, the famously bergamot-flavored tea. That's not such a bad thing, but it's disappointingly lacking in complexity. Where's the neroli? Where are the base notes? At this price point, I expected more richness.I can't recommend this cologne. And if you're reading Amazon reviews to try to find the right scent for you, or for a loved one, then may I suggest trying some samples instead? A spritz is worth far more than a thousand words.

Smells a Bit Like Bug Spray and Premium Priced Cologne
I'm going to cut straight to the chase with this review - the Bergamot & Neroli cologne by The Art of Shaving is a high-priced cologne that (to me) isn't worth the asking price. That doesn't mean that I don't like certain aspects of this cologne, I do. The light citrus scent is pretty good and suitable for Spring and Summer months. The biggest issue, price aside, is the scent reminds me a lot of OFF! brand bug spray. I'm not trying to be funny either, whatever citrus blend that The Art of Shaving came up with for this cologne smells very similar to the aforementioned bug spray. It's not just me either, after applying the cologne post-shower I asked my wife what the smell reminded her of and she immediately said bug spray.Obviously, this cologne lacks some of the punch of OFF! and doesn't leave you feeling like you just applied bug spray but the main fragrance is just way too similar. For me, I'll stick with my favorite cologne's that I've used for years. Which are considerably cheaper that The Art of Shaving Cologne.
