Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone in Decorative Basket, Unscented, 3.5 Ounce

I've been using the Thai Crystal Stone for over a decade and they last for nearly a year. This particular one is larger and has a more comfortable feel when applying it. I also like that it does not come in a plastic container. The salt crystal is an amazing product and completely eliminates odor from even starting, used after a shower and continues to work for the next 24 hours.

You might wonder how rubbing a salt crystal on your skin would help keep you from smelling like BO, and I wouldn't blame you. It feels like I'm skipping something when I just "apply" the wet bar to my underarms, rather than a thick paste or gel, but I gotta say, it works!If you're coming from an anti-perspirant, give it a week or so because your body has to get rid of the chemicals, but it'll pay off. It's a great value for your money.This crystal will last for a VERY long time. I had one that lasted over a year. Just make sure you're careful not to drop it - when it's wet, it shatters easily and even if you salvage some big chunks, they won't be as smooth as the were and you can scratch yourself up easily.

Quick background. Many years ago I decided to try these crystal deodorants and found one that was available at a local store. A few minutes after applying the deodorant I noticed a burning irritation, but I kept using it because people online were saying your body needs to get used to the new deodorant. However it only got worse with each application. After more research I discovered that most of the cheap versions of these deodorants use Ammonium Alum which can cause some people to have irritation, and the better versions actually use Potassium Alum. I found a Potassium Alum version online and problem solved! So now, many years later my Potassium Alum crystal deodorant is running low and I need a replacement but I can't find the original brand name of the one I bought before, so I go searching for a different brand of Potassium Alum crystal deodorant and decided to try this one. The description on the Amazon page does say that they use Potassium Alum, but on the package it just says "mineral salts". Well, I applied it after my shower this morning and within a few minutes I experienced burning irritation. I knew right away that there's no way this is Potassium Alum, it's the cheaper Ammonium Alum, because only the Ammonium Alum causes me irritation like this. So I'm sending this back.I do like the shape of the crystal and the little basket is really cool too, but it burns, burns, burns!

Preface, of all the styles of this product I've tried, this is my top pick. There's a spray, roll on, travel size (good for petite pitts perhaps), the "stick" with a curved end, the cube with kinda curved edges in a plastic dish, and rectangular block in a bamboo box... then, there's this edition. Save yourself the efforts and go with this version here, a curved oval stone in a white basket. Wet the stone and apply to your underarms right out of the shower. Let air dry before dressing. That's it, and you safely won't smell bad.The large curved size works nicely. I'm an adult size person...The basket is great to store it. When traveling, the basket and stone go into a ziploc bag. Always be careful with the stone, don't drop it.Pro tip 😆 have a back up stone at home. If you drop it and can't find the back up, run the smoothest side of the stone under warm water for it to kinda smooth out.As long as you don't drop or lose it, this will seemingly last forever.

Stone works but is quite brittle. Depending on your level of use , an option with d a stick dispenser may be better. The presentation is attractive and pricing compares Okay.Read very carefully as only one is in packet not two.

Great, amazing, wonderful little stone!!! No longer need deodorant or antiperspirant! The positive reviews are true and I’m glad I tried it!!! The first week I used the stone 3 times a day. The second week only 2 times daily. By the 3rd week I only needed the stone once to twice a day depending on what I was doing. I don’t like to got to bed smelling my own armpits so I often just give them a little swipe before sleepy time. Lol The smell is completely gone, no more armpit bumps or clogged pores from my old products, and I feel cleaner. Love that it is all natural, straight from the earth not manufactured to mask the smell but stops it dead in its tracks and kills the bacteria that causes the smell in the first place. May take a person some time to get used to but persistence and perseverance will win out in the end. Follow the directions! Rinse the stone after each application, each armpit people! Happy customer! Will purchase some backups just in case!!!
