I prefer the coil instead of a shorter cable length because I can always extra length if i need it. Coil is tighter than what appears in the photo and easily retains its shape which is what I prefer. Great quality cable

Have only had it for a month of light use and during normal disconnection the usb c connector fractured at the neck of the plug causing the internal metal contact portion to detach from the cable and remain inside my $5000 camera. There was no bending, pulling or excessive force applied. This appears to be a hardware failure of the connector/assembly. I would recommend skipping this smallrig item and going with kondor blue instead. *update I’m on my second cord from smallrig after they sent me another one and this one just stopped working on me during a video shoot. Not sure why I keep having issues with this cable but I definitely wouldn’t recommend these for client work, these things just don’t last.

Works great connecting my VMount battery to camera. Perfect length and coil keeps everything nice, compact and neat looking.

Works well when it does, but it does say it looses connection quite often. Often being a few times a day.

J’utilise ce câble pour connecter mon appareil photo et transférer mes fichiers rapidement, mais aussi pour brancher des lampes à des batteries V-mount. La conception spiralée est très pratique, elle évite que le câble traîne partout tout en offrant une bonne flexibilité. La qualité de fabrication est solide et les connecteurs semblent résistants même après plusieurs utilisations. Le câble est assez long une fois étiré, ce qui est pratique pour différents setups. Le seul petit point faible est qu’il reste un peu rigide au début, mais cela s’améliore après quelques utilisations. C’est un très bon câble pour tous ceux qui cherchent un accessoire fiable et pratique pour leurs appareils USB-C et leur matériel d’éclairage.

Después de probar varios cables para conectar mi disco duro SSD a la cámara he dado con el cable correcto. Al ser elástico, no queda tirante con la cámara y es fácil su manejo (sobretodo con estabilizador) Además, con la velocidad de transferencia de datos es suficiente para grabar en altas calidades. Devolví otros cables y finalmente me quedé con este.

Questo cavo è davvero carino e interessante, oltre che pratico. La sua caratteristica principale è il design a molla, che permette di mantenerlo compatto quando non è in uso, evitando quel fastidioso groviglio di cavi USB che spesso si accumula sulla scrivania o nello zaino. Nonostante la sua forma retrattile, il cavo si estende senza problemi quando serve e torna subito compatto una volta rilasciato. È una soluzione semplice ma estremamente efficace per chi cerca un modo ordinato per gestire la ricarica e il collegamento dei dispositivi. Un accessorio piccolo, ma davvero utile per chi vuole ridurre l’ingombro senza rinunciare alla praticità.
