Ombre Jumbo Braids Synthetic Braiding Hair Kanekalon Fiber for Twist Braiding Hair 3 Tones 5 Packs (24", 56#)

I am a full time braider with 20+ years of experience. This hair is extremely soft, not a major major issue, but still very soft. Knowing how synthetic hair feels after all these years I knew it wouldn’t stand up to being dipped in hot water to seal the ends but I still had to test it. FAIL* I pulled off enough for a small/medium sized box braid, braided it down and dipped it. This is what I do with all brands of hair I’ve yet to try. As u can see in the second picture it’s a bit frayed just after dipping.I have not used it in my hair yet but will write another review when I do. Why am I still going to use it u ask? Well the truth is the color (ombré black to purple to pink) is very vibrant and beautiful! I always use color in my braids and honestly was running out of colors to use. Reason number two is I paid for it and I really really want to use it lol. After install a second review will be given! Happy braiding @creativeexpressions247

Not so great for a crochet install, probably better for just braids.... The hair is a soft texture. Doesn't seem unnecessarily shiny. I like the transition from black to gray, and the gray is not too harsh. I would like it better if the black came down a tad more!! They DEFINITELY need to have more color options for black ombré. They got the dark gray spot on so I want to see more colors become available!!!!

Terrible. My braided had a terrible time braiding with this product. The ‘jumbo’ bundles are a joke. It looks fuzzy like yarn and itches like a sum-bi+2h. I did a ACV rinse and wash and conditioner. When this spongy mess dries, I’ll see if a low set flat iron will make it look presentable. If not, it’s coming out tomorrow.

I had to take away a star. Not sure if Kanekalon cause of the dip.....VERY PRETTY HAIR. Soft on the fIngers when braiding. Will buy again.**Does not dip as flat as black n gold but it does dip

I’ve never been more disappointed. This hair tangles and sheds from the start. The 82” is such a great length but it was almost impossible to get 5 braids in my hair with it

The dark purple at base is not half as bright as the image portrays....its closer to black. My daughter was very disappointed

The color is pretty but it wasn't as bright as it was in the photos. It is a couple of shades darker

Love this hair soo much. I couldn't find any ombre braiding hair like this in stores. It matched my real ombre hair perfectly.
