Quicksilver Quickleen Engine and Fuel System Cleaner

Quality engine and fuel system. Had contaminated fuel and this is really helping smooth out the rough idle.

Our 75hp Mercury outboard hadn't been run for a over a year. Prior to that it just didn't seem to have the power it should & also sounded like it had bit of an intermittent miss. I read through some boating forums and saw the high praises for this product as being better than the Marine Seafoam. It is made by Mercury so figured I didn't have much to lose and everything to gain. On the recommendation to "shock" the system and clean the fuel system and de-carbon the power head properly, I used a 3oz. to one gallon ratio. I had a small portable 3 gal. fuel tank and once on the lake I switched over from the onboard boat fuel tank to the portable. Almost instantaneously I could tell/feel the difference with the motor....seriously, scouts honor! I continued to run out the small tank varying throttle positions at times. When done with the "shock treatment" the motor was back to running smooth & powerful as it should. Made our fishing trip in MN a pure joy. I'm a firm believer now and will always use this additive as directed for sustained maintenance whenever fueling up. PS....don't forget to add a quality fuel stabilizer as this product does not contain those pertinent ingredients. Fish on.

Excellent project. Took care of my performance issues in a couple of hours.

followed directions, failed emissions test, applied this to empty gas tank, cleaned entire systems and valves. Passed emissions after traveling 50 miles. Would buy again.

I dunno if it really did anything for my 150hp merc jet drive, I surely didn't notice any difference in starting/running/getting up on plane, but maybe I just have a good engine that doesn't need any additive stuff for it! Really, I just bought this more for preventative maintenance and wasn't really expecting any miracle of more power or anything. She starts up just fine like she normally does, and 40mph for a 150hp jet is pretty good as it is (the fiber reeds helped a lot with top end and take off). I'll use it up over the next several months and if I notice any real difference, I'll update this come spring '21.

My husband bought this. I don’t know much about it but he has zero complaints. He bought it for a boat. He has fixed up 2 boats, sold one & we kept the other. So he apparently knows what to buy & how to use it.

The best by far of any cleaner I've seen. Seafood is very good stuff and a favorite go to when in a bind, but this cleaner is 10 times better
