I recently was introduced to plasma donation and had no knowledge of what was needed to make it easy and successful. Just like donating blood, however, you need to squeeze your fist repeatedly to make the blood flow more smoothly. A lot of people just squeeze some fabric or their empty hand. With plasma, however, it lasts for around 1 hour and there are 4-5 short sessions where you’re constantly squeezing. So I decided to find a good quality rubber ball to squeeze.This ball is terrific. You can get it in different firmness; I recommend light or medium (this one is medium) unless your hands are really strong. The added item that sold it was the band that fastened around your wrist. When you’re hooked up to the blood draw you can’t get up to retrieve your squeeze ball if you drop it. So this feature is great.

Bought it for my 92 year old father. He'd recently fallen and broke his wrist and was now having problems with his mobility exercises. He says it's the perfect size and was just right for him to squeeze. He sometimes has to use his healthy hand to help the recovering hand, but that's only due to his stiff fingers. And he loves that the strap on his wrist gives him the security of not dropping or losing the ball.

It's easy to not to lose the ball. you can keep it in a safe place. the dislike is the ball is not that easy to squeeze. I wanted the ball to be softer.

What I was looking for. A physical therapy squeeze ball to keep upper arm muscles toned during convalescence.The ball fits perfectly in my palm. I got the medium tone so it provides enough resistance for exercise. The strap is appreciated so I don't drop it and have it roll away from me where I have to maneuver out of bed to retrieve it. (Or if I fall asleep, the ball doesn't "get away" from me.)Definitely would recommend. Price was $11. Didn't break the bank.

I bought the medium green, and like it so much I purchased the 3 pack minutes ago.These is a solid feeling, durable, stress ball. I bought it as I suffer from CTS on occasion. Also, I’d like my mom who is 80 to try them, she has arthritis pretty bad in her hands. This ball is supposed to be good for both of our needs and much more! Looking forward to instructions.

Good idea for having string to attach the ball but the ball is too small for Hand Exercise. Even my hand is not large.

My husband needed to get a stress ball to strengthen his muscles on his arm to prepare for dialysis. I bought this one because it has the string loop to make it easier to use and not drop out of his hand. He uses it all the time. He even falls asleep with it in his hand. Definitely recommend this product.

I purchased for a friend who clinches her hand/fist, in an effort to help keep it open to some degree. Liked the idea of the strap because she has dementia and being in an assisted living facility things get lost easily. So far it works for my purposes. It seems to be of good quality and durability and definitely worth the money paid.
