This dog bowl is beautiful! First off, the bowl got delivered in perfect condition; no defects or chips in the ceramic! It’s definitely a large bowl with heft to it, a good 2-3lbs. It doesn’t have a rubber lining on the bottom to keep it from sliding, but the heaviness should deter movement. If you’re concerned still or have hardwood floors you want to protect, a silicone or feeding mat should do the trick. The color is a nice gray, but actually has some hints of muted green? Which I’m cool with. The one thing I love about the bowl is that it’s microwave safe. My dog does a mix of dry and wet food so it’s nice cutting out an extra dish to heat up the wet food. It microwaved great btw! Overall the design is so unique, modern, and elegant! If my dog could thumbs up it, I know he would lol.

If your dog is a messy drinker, skip the contraptions and get this bowl in size large instead! It's a little expensive but it does an excellent job of keeping the water in the bowl and actually looks great. Our 75lb pit mix used to drench the floor with every other type of bowl before we got this one. I was worried our cat wouldn't be able to drink out of it because the sides are quite tall but it turned out to be a good fit for him as well. I like that this bowl is heavy enough that my dog doesn't pick it up. Smooth ceramic texture also makes it difficult to bite. She used to dump her lighter plastic or aluminum bowls. No more! It is also easy to clean. I only give it a 4 on durability because it is ceramic, after all. Drop this on the floor from counter height and it will break. This is quite possible since the bowl is heavy when full of water.

My dogs are so much happier drinking water out of this rose-colored bowl. Ok, no they really aren't, but for the price, wouldn't it be nice to be able to say so? Why are products for our pets always more expensive then regular products? After spending more than I thought necessary on this, I was shopping at Target and saw a nice Room Essentials bowl which I liked just as much at a fraction of the price. Lesson learned.

I've been looking for ceramic bowls to replace stainless steel bowls I got when my dog was a puppy. She shares her water dish with two cats and I often find a puddle next to the dish because the cats play with the bowl and water and dump it. (They have a fountain for that very reason but they like to play with her water.) This is heavy enough that they can't tip it and the sides are high enough that they don't really play with the water as much. I got it in Midnight because I got a navy bowl with a bone constellation on it for her food (she's named after a constellation) and I wanted a water bowl to match. It's not exact but they go together well enough that it works. Just be warned, the large bowl is HUGE. It works for water but for her food it would be too big. She's about fifty pounds and gets a cup of food twice a day. For a larger dog it would probably work well but for my medium sized girl it would be really big for the amount of food she gets. I'd even use it as a decorative bowl if I wasn't using it for a dog bowl! Overall, it's beautiful, sturdy, and totally worth the money!

I bought this to replace a stainless steel water bowl which I found a small rust spot on! I have five large dogs who all share the same water bowl. This is a very heavy and sturdy bowl and I'm happy I bought it to replace the apparently rusty stainless bowl which we had used for quite some time. I plan to buy another one of these in the future just to have alternating bowls while this one is in the dishwasher.

This is a great heavy weighted dog food or water bowl. We have a dog that loves to push around and empty her water or food bowl so we needed to find something she could not too over or chew. This is perfect and I love the slate grey color.

We have had this bowl for over a year now and many times as I’m filling it and carrying it to the floor Ibthinl to myself I need to write a review about this bowl! I love the size of the bowl(we have three big pups) and the ceramic is strong and beautiful! The little bevel at the bottom makes it easy to fill and move to its spot! Love this bowl!!
