Working great for my mother!
My mother’s hands shake a lot and this set has been great. Work great . They are just heavy enough to where her hands don’t shake as bad when she’s eating. Great price and great product . She has thanked me many times for these. I’m thinking of getting her another set of them

Excellent aid for Parkinson's Patient
These are fabulous! My mother has Parkinson's Disease and has a lot of difficulty holding utensils and bringing them to her mouth. I gave her these for Christmas and she said they helped her a lot. At the facility where she lives they use handles that attach to normal utensils but they are not very sturdy and are loose fitting. The Adaptive Eating Utensils by Celley are very sturdy (both the handle and the steel portion) and the handles are not detachable. The only negative aspect of this item is that there is not option to have a name engraved on them! My mom was worried someone at her facility would steal hers. I ended up using a bright red nail polish and painting her name on the black handle part.

Gave him back some dignity
My husband has Parkinson's disease. I bought this set to make it easier for him to eat "normally". This set had given him back some dignity while eating. The spoons offer a deeper bowl so he doesn't shake all the soup or cereal out while eating. The larger handles offer him the ability to feed himself with confidence again. Something so simple added a higher quality of life. Down side: The metal is too flimsy and flexible. It is great for soup or cereal, but bent easily while he was getting himself some ice cream.

Great Idea
These utensils are easy to pick up and hold, however, they need some fine tuning. I would prefer that the knife blade be shaped more like a regular dinner knife and have a less deep serration. The handle on the soup spoon hits the side of the dish when you have cereal or soup and prevents one from leaving it in the dish between bites, etc. The teaspoon is fine for stirring tea or coffee but may have the same p roblem as the soup spoon when using in a dessert dish. the fork is okay.

Pleasantly surprised
Might be the best set of adaptive utensils I've used. Pleasantly surprised by their weight. The look and feel is awesome!

Perfect for arthritis sufferers
Perfect oversized and gripping utensils. Don’t bother with those cheap add on grips, the wholes are too small and very difficult to install if you have arthritis

NOT Weighted
I purchased these for a parent who has Parkinson's because the description states they are weighted: "They have a weighted rubber grip handle." They are not weighted. They are simply adaptive in that each utensil has a little bump out "weight support" stand that makes them easier to pick up off the table. Yes, they are larger and easier to use, but they are not weighted utensils.

What a fantastic set of cutlery. Well made and heavy duty. And a decent price. That’s rare today. I recommend these.

No li poso 5 estels perquè el ganivet no talla bé
