The Wandmaker's Guidebook

A gift for someone close to me they had no idea as I acted like it was for me. When I asked them to open it the we're initially mad till they saw the card that reads."Dear I know you have waited for many years to have this book, well you thought it mine, not so now go and make that wand and cast with the masters."Few times you can make someone's dreams come true, this was one of them.I read the book very well written and incredibly entertaining. And she can pass this to our grandkids. Yes it was for my wife, my soulmate, my queen. And definitely my best friend.

The book is missing all of the items that make it a Wandmaker guide book. Items that were included in the description as apart of the purchase. Except for a piece of broken blue pallet that was used as a replacement for the original wand. I feel as if the items were deliberately left or replaced with something else and then priced to sell.

Like new, never used, all the cool stuff including the wand. Awesome!

If you have ever read the Dragonology series of books, then you already know what this book is like: full of pull-outs and "hidden" information. It's very fun and amusing. I'm discounting a few points because although the copy I received actually contained all its materials, the wand itself had some rather nasty cracks in it. (I've got them sealed with candle-wax presently.) Still, if you can manage to get a copy with the pieces in one... piece, I'm sure you or the recipient would be delighted to read about and then make their own wand.

The Wandmaker's Guidebook is well written and affords hours of fun. One can let their creative nature abound and also, it is informative, and interesting, of the many facts it has to offer. The book is a very good read suitable for an inquisitive mind. The Wandmaker's Guidebook is very enjoyable to say the least.

Had this book growing up and was so excited to gift one to my nephew for his birthday. Upon receiving, the wand was missing and there was past damage to the outside. The wand was my favorite part as a kid, so I knew he would be sad without it. Returned it, hoping if they resell it that the description includes details of its current state so someone else isn’t disappointed. Two stars, for the book itself being so fun, but docked for condition and in accurate description.

Very informative, huge amount of information and well written. Seems to be written more to the younger audience than those of the more mature age though. Aparently the author was going for the "Harry Potter" fans, but the book is still informative,

This product was extremely disappointing. Very inaccurate description. It arrived with no wand or accessories, which essentially means it’s useless. My daughter spent her own money to be able to use this book.

Beautifully put together book with a make your own wand kit in the back; my niece loves it.

Once the package arrived I sat down with my daughter to open the package and seeing her smile when she saw what was inside was amazing.Once opened and all excited my daughter went to pull out the wand from its storage location in the back of the book so she could start to read and learn how to build her perfect wand using the astronomy charts.She opened the sleeve where the wand was supposed to be held and instantly started crying.The wand and all of the powders were missing. I went through the book and every single "secret" letter was missing as well.I am very disappointed however I was fully refunded for their mistake.

The book is absolutely fantastic but there were 2 missing envelopes/props from it. guess will never find out what was inside :)

My son desparately wanted this book for Christmas 2007 - it was the only one he kept repeatedly asking for! The wand and other items in the book gave it added interest although I am having to keep reminding him that it isn't a good idea to try to turn his little sister into a frog or other things!I've only given it 4 stars because I feel that the full listed price is too high, but it is excellent value if you can find it reduced in price.
