Wacky Races: Crash & Dash (Nintendo DS)

I love Wacky Races, but the gameplay for this is quite rubbish, and doesn't feel well thought through. There are 3 main reasons, which I've listed below.The general racing part isn't very good - it's a side-on camera angle most of the time, but it quite often moves around. Also, you drive the car just by dragging it with the stylus, which I find a bit tedious.About 3 times during every race, the game stops mid-race for a Wario-style mini-game. The mini-games would be fine, but having the race stop in the middle for them makes the mini-games a little annoying.Finally, each race ends with a final dash, for which you have to blow into the microphone of the DS to get across the finish line, which seems unnecessary, and I think it doesn't really add anything to the game.Basically, you're welcome to give it a try, but it's worth watching a gameplay video on Youtube first. I feel that they've focused too much on the features that the DS has, but no where near enough on making a fun game with smooth play.

great present

At the end of each race you have to blow into the DS in order to win - being asthmatic I found this really hard and began to feel dizzy. Also I was hoping to play using the buttons not stylus, but you direct the car around with the stylus. This is going into my pile of games I'm going to sell on. It is a shame! I was hoping this would be great.

The gane is alright for a little while, but does get repetitive and fustrating, i thought that each of the racers would become enjoyable but too be honest it does get boring.

My son Joshua loves Wacky races, he really thought this game brought the characters to life....Fab!!!
