Great for EZ drive changes.
I installed this in the optical bays of a Silverstone SG01, having removed the internal bays to make room for an extra length video card and more cooling. As each bay will fit a normal 3.5 inch drive, you can also squeeze in a dual 3.5" to 2 2.5" hot swap SSD box (I use Chenbro's dual hot swap 2.5" cage) into each of these 3.5" bays, allowing an externally available stack of 6, count em, 6 2.5" drive slots. This allowed me to use: The top slot for my system drive, and I can easily change the operating system drive from XP32, to XP64, to Win7 64, to Win8. And the other slots for programs and storage, all on SSD's, making my systems respond instantaneously no matter what I am doing. Highly recommended.

Excellent product.
This product has been installed in my main desktop computer for almost two years and I haven't experienced a single issue with it.
