You get what you see on packaging. But I had no broken disks. I had to use four of the disks right away, to complete a project, and the process went smoothly. I was relieved there was a dropoff right away, by the local Amazon facility - though I am not normally in favor of Sunday deliveries. We all need a day off! My project did not include audio files, though, so I can't go by that, I use a specific brand of CD-R AUDIO (or MUSIC) for that. So my Sound Quality is a neutral 3, since I can't speak on that subject. I do love individual cases but this was good value for the money.

These are nice looking CD's if you want to add some color to your collection. I'm a die hard Maxell Music CD buyer because they work better in my CD burner. But I'm using these in my laptop so they work just as well! I did have a problem with the black CD's since I write on my CD's with a black Sharpie. I solved that problem by buying a metallic silver Sharpie from Office Depot and it works GREAT!!

These aren't the cool ones from the late 00s that had color backs (the writable portion) - instead they're plain silver. They should work but not really what I was looking for. Wish the listing had a photo that clearly showed the back of the disks to avoid confusion.

i purchase these memorex cds as the other cds (verbatims) i purchase would not work in my car (2009 Toyota Camry with the factory head unit). i try these cds (Memorex) and they work. i use these cds to burn mp3 files to the cds to listen to in the car. i use cyber2go 10 to burn my mp3 disk. the cds arrive in 5 days. that quick since i went with free shipping. the vendor i puchase these cds from was " 1 Stop Outlet ". the cds where in retail packaging. brand new and sealed. would buy from " 1 Stop Outlet " again.
