Well I'm not a dentist so I can't say if this removes plaque or not. But the brush head seems to vibrate very fast. It charges easily and the charge will last for quite a well before it needs to be charged again.It feels a lot lighter compared to the other elec toothbrushes I've had. The only complaint, and it's pretty minor, is that it doesn't come with a wall plug. It uses one of those USB to electric outlet blocks - the ones your cell phone typically comes with. I've already got several of them laying around the house from old cell phones and kindles, so it wasn't a big deal for me.

We have had phillips sonicare in the past. After my last 2 phillips going bad in a short period of time I looked thru reviews and decided to give Fairywill Electric Toothbrush, Sonic toothbrush a try. So far so good. It is a smaller unit so it fits in your hand great. You recharge by USB which is another change. I like the different settings that are options. I bought one for me and one for my husband. He is very happy with his also.If we make it thru a year I'll be totally happy,To update my purchase. One of the 2 toothbrushes that I purchase has quite and will not charge. Refundable for 30 day. Bought in August and were in to October. Not going to try again.Company reached out to me and sent new unit. This is now my only toothbrush. Before I had one for home and for traveling. This one works well at home, and the travel case is the best. The case does not have space for the charging cable, but the battery easily last more than a month. Battery charger cable included but not wall adapter, I use a cellphone adapter and its works great. Purchased 2 years ago and the battery still works. It has multiple modes that changes the frequency it vibrates. It turns off after 2 minutes running, that the time dentist recommend. It makes an small pause every 30 seconds so you know when to change to a different section.

Great toothbrush! I still haven't had to charge it yet, was kind of trying to see how long til it dies. The travel case keeps it from turning on in luggage which is very useful. Cleans great.

I use this product for my commute and during the day at work after every meal and snack. I love the additional brushes for brushing my gums and between my teeth. Power on the brushes are perfect—not too strong to cause discomfort but strong enough to clean teeth.

I bought this to replace a sonicare that had lasted 10 years. This toothbrush lasted a year and a half but now will not charge more than a minute before the light turns off. The replacement heads were inexpensive and I've had regular dental cleanings since using it and no noticeable increase or decrease in plaque so I would say it works as well as a Sonicare.It is light and travels better than the heavier sonicare.It's kind of toss-up between sonicare though: you pay more for a sonicare that lasts longer. I will say however, the heads for this brush are much less expensive than sonicare heads.

This is not necessarily the fault of the seller... but be forewarned: the manufacturer does not stand behind their product. This is my 4th toothbrush from Fairywill, and the second to quit working. This failed after only a few months. I wrote to the support address and was given a long list of things to provide... which I provided. Thereafter, the so-called support people:- ask for the same information again- eventually claim they will give you a gift card- ignore you (it's been a month since they claimed they would resolve this... and they don't even reply to emails)So, between the product failing quite quickly and the time-wasting, frustrating support, it's not worth the purchase. It's a shame as it's a relatively well-intended product. It's just not made well, nor supported well.

I've only had it about two weeks, but so far I like it. It's super lightweight, the battery has lasted on one charge this entire time, and it leaves my teeth feeling very clean.It doesn't seem to be very powerful - even gentle pressure causes the motor to sound strained, but gently cleaning one's teeth is something it seems capable of handling. The five modes seem a bit silly - they're just different speeds of vibration or pulses instead of constant buzzing. I don't find them useful personally, but others might. I really wish there was a way to pause the two-minute timer (with pauses in the buzzing to indicate it has been 30 seconds and is time to move on) and then start it again in the same sequence, but that is a minor quibble.I like the travel case and appreciate the different brush heads that it came with. The charger cable is small and easy to work with. I'm very happy with it, especially for the price!
