Fits good on my 8yr old pit bull. The front straps can get loose when using a leash but this is fixes by adding some duck tape to the loose part of the buckles. The water bottle holder does not work great and is very loose when on the harness. I threw it out and strictly used the utility pouch for extra medical supplies, small bag of snacks, and soft water bowl. Velcro works great with standard Army patches with the hoop and loop fastener system. I was able to attach some MOLE bags to it but the fit loose as you can only use 2 of the 3 horizontal loops are open. Overal pretty great product for the price.

I got this for my service dog. I got the shorter version because I thought it would be less restrictive. My German Shepherd is 5 months old and still in training. It was easy to put on which is important for me since my hands are very disabled. I like having the Velcro for adjusting the fit since my dog is still growing. The Velcro is also easier for me to adjust instead of straps only. I like the Molle attachments, but like another reviewer said, you have to use one on each side for balance. I initially tried using on one side but the vest slid to one side. My dog does not appear to mind this vest at all. Appears well made. Hope it holds up because it will be getting a lot of use. I like that the patches and molle pouches were included. Good value for the money.

We tried many different vests and nothing was quite right. I was hesitant to try this vest as it is clearly a military type issue item. I didn’t want to misrepresent either myself or my dog as a veteran. I was relieved when not one person has asked that since we bought this a few months ago. He is a very broad chested boy and the any of two strapconfiguration products continually came off. The three adjustable straps are such a boon. I don’t have to constantly bend over and worry about readjusting him. He really seems to like the vest too! I love the pouches! He carries his own foldable water bowl, his seatbelt harness for the bus, my emergency instructions and medications. The only very small thing that I would like to see added is a water bottle holder. I didn’t return the last vest because I wanted to keep that vest’s water bottle holder to use with this vest. Otherwise, a sturdy well fitting, great product!

Nice material and sturdy however it does not fit good. The harness moves around even when tightened. Not good for training.I like it over the regular harness for show since it looks nice.

Missing attachments.

Just received item. I have a 100lb plush coat (double coat long hair) GERMAN Shepherd. Not a small Americanized Shepherd like the picture shows. I got an XL guided by the measurements. Probably could have gotten a XXL. So the harness sits up on his back more so then comes down the sides. But I think this product will do just fine carrying his poop bags. I wish It came with 2 pouches instead of this water bottle holder? Don't need the service dog patches because he is not a service dog but more of a guard dog. Love the handle and the breast cover. Over all a solid product. May do a 6 month or 1 year review update. See if this holds up

I like it ,, but my 130lbs dog , little tight ,, but I bought other n still small , this one fit better , I need to return the dog to his mom not this product :)
