Enhances your grilling options
Although I did purchase this unit with an AC adapter, I prefer to use it with batteries to avoid an extension cord running across the patio, inviting me to trip over it. The motor works well, both for rotisserie chickens and for various sized baskets containing smaller items. I have used it several times with wings, veggies and shrimp and the food came out very well each time. This is a nice addition for a Weber kettle and I recommend it highly.

A cordless rotisserie grill! Great idea!
I am thrilled with this cordless grill rotisserie motor. I've used it 4 times now, on my 22" Weber Performer grill, also bought from Amazon, to cook a leg of lamb, chickens and a rack of ribs and the batteries are still strong. It requires 6 D cells and these go a long way. It will be great to use when I take my rotisserie grill set up on picnics this year.

Rotisserie
Used it for the first time( 8-31-17) and it work great,it's a little loud but I knew that anyways.I put some used batteries in it to cook a 4lb chicken for 2 hours and still had battery power after that.Good deal, good price!

Awesome Motor
I got the OneGrill cordless motor to use on my gas grill so I could avoid having an extension cord running across my deck. It’s a great replacement for the original Weber corded motor that came with my rotisserie.Weber’s motor had a heat shield that pushed the motor back about half an inch, so that some third-party motors won’t work. The square socket that the spit plugs into on the OneGrill cordless models is actually deeper than most other rotisserie motors, so my concerns about my spit bottoming out and not allowing it to fit the grill box were unwarranted. The only real fitment issue with the OneGrill motor is that its mounting tabs allow the spit drive to sit a little lower than some other motors. This is no problem on my gas grill, as the design of the spit shaft makes it so that the spit is supporting the weight of the motor, but if I were using it on a different grill, the motor bracket could block the spit drive. You could get around this problem by using a bushing like the OneGrill 4PB01, but it’s still something to keep in mind for certain applications.Overall I highly recommend the OneGrill cordless motor. It definitely expands your rotisserie options, and it’s a great value.

I had my doubts.
I read other reviews and still had my doubts that a battery operated gizmo would have enough power to rotiss my chickens. I gave it a try and it works great. An unexpected extra surprise was that it can be used with a AC converter [not included]. I had several on hand from defunct equipment and dug out one that fit. Though I love the convenience of no power cord, it's good to know that I can use one if needed,,, haven't tried a turkey yet. I'll see if I need more power for a "big bird".

low cost, but cheap Rotisserie.
Cheap unit. Works, but its noisy & you get what you pay for. Certainly would not purchase again.

Fast delivery and it worked well.
We used it for a Christmas decoration on top of our vintage VW. The rotisserie spit attached to a small motor turns the key on top of the car.

Pretty darn good
This works great and runs for hours with out a worry of the batteries draining. I use it for drying lures and it's kind of low humming noisy but completely manageable for the price and solid metal case quality. I just wish it came with a dc cord and maybes touch quieter but the price is appropriate for what you get
