Tarantino XX - 8 Film Collection [Blu-ray] [1992]

I've always been Tarantino fan ever since watching Reservoir Dogs in the cinema all those years back. Although I have all but one, Death Proof, on DVD, I didn't hesitate to buy this when released. I wasn't disappointed. Watching the films on Blu-ray was like watching the films for the first time again. The transfers to hi def are amazing. I won't go on about the films themselves because they have been reviewed thousands of times. We all know what they're about. The extra bonus discs give a wealth of material which I'm yet to get through. The box itself is good and has nice artwork inside. If your a Tarantino fan this is a must.

A superb collection of most of Tarantino's films with the exception of Django Unchained & The Hateful Eight. This is now out of print but is still the definitive set for fans of the auteur director. Highly recommended if you can find it for a decent price.

This is a great collection, the artwork on the casing is superb and the films included are presented in stunning HD. I think the price of the item is spot on and shouldn't deter anyone from purchasing. There are also a wealth of extras included.Buy this, you won't be disappointed!

There is no doubt how good are these films, but I would say this 10 Blu-Ray contained in this amazing MONDO desing box are at the same level. No doubt we are in front of a masterpiece.PD: NO SUBTITLES in any language (even English) in the two extras Discs

I haven't had a chance to watch any of the dvds yet so I can't say how well they play. It's not "as new" as the packaging is a bit dog eared but there it is

An excellent product, based on the price I bought it for (£25). I don't think it's worth more than £40 personally though.The films have very good visual and audio reproduction.I haven't watched any of the extras.the films are all excellent

I brought this as a gift for my boyfriend as he is a massive Tarantino fan. He absolutely loved it.The art work on the box is brilliant. Makes an excellent gift for any Tarantino fan!

Box artwork is fantastic, and you know how good the movie are otherwise you wouldn't be looking at this.Shame I have to buy Django Unchained separate. Never mind, steel book anyone :D

cofanetto in lingua originale edizione bluray, è vero django unchained non è presente ma poichè non era ancora uscito in dvd o bluray, in compenso ci sono tutti gli altri film del regista in alta definizione e con tanti contenuti extra mai visti, da avere ;)

Estaba muy emocionado por esta compra, sin embargo la región no es compatible para que sea reproducido en los DVD de latinoamerica, así que no me sirvieron de nada.

Über die Box an sich muss ich hier ja wohl kaum ein Wort verlieren, da die Filme über jeden Zweifel erhaben sind. Vor meinem Kauf war ich allerdings etwas skeptisch was es mit dieser fehlerhaften Bonus-Disk auf sich hatte. Habe dann aber doch zugeschlagen und musste zuerst leider feststellen, dass das Bild bei der Disk #9 fest friert. Genauso wie es einige hier geschildert haben. Natürlich war mein Ärger groß, denn auf eine bürokratische Stornierung mit Zurücksenden der Disk (oder gleich der gesamten Box) und Verrechnung der Versandkosten hatte ich weder Zeit, noch Lust; zumal ich die Rechnung bereits weggeworfen hatte!!!An alle die auch deswegen mit der Kaufentscheidung noch hadern, ihr könnt euch beruhigen:1. Ist der Fehler bei der zweiten Auflage behoben2. Kann man die fehlerhafte Disk echt unkompliziert umtauschen lassen oder besser gesagt ohne einen Rückversand sich direkt eine fehlerfreie Disk zuschicken lassen.Wie gesagt ich hatte die Rechnung nicht mehr und habe über Email "[email protected]" dem Vertreiber mein Problem geschildert und hatte nichts außer einen Screenshot von der Amazon-Bestellbestätigung. Hab schon gedacht, ich müsste nun losgehen und einen Kontoauszug einscannen mit der Rechnungsnummer und meine geliebte Box (die anderen Filme laufen ja wunderbar) wieder zurückzuschicken. Doch es kam anders. Einen Tag später bekam ich eine freundliche Antwortmail mit der Aussage, dass ich einen Ersatz erhalte und die Disk bereits unterwegs sei. Und so war’s. Einen Tag später lag sie in meinem Briefkasten.Ich will jetzt wirklich nicht Werbung für Studiocanal machen, aber schneller und einfacherer geht es echt nicht; und ich bin jemand der schnell genervt ist von irgendwelchen Umtauschaktionen. Das ist auch Grund, warum ich erstmals eine Kundenrezension bei Amazon verfasse, weil es mich meist nicht interessiert und ich oft schon ein eigenes Bild von den Produkten habe; aber in diesem Fall bemerkt man bei einige Kommentaren, dass es wegen dieser Fehlpressung noch ein hohes Maß an Irritation gibt. Also Daumen hoch für Studiocanal. Die fehlerhafte Disk wollen die nicht mal zurück; habe sie natürlich eingestampft. Also alles was ihr tun müsst, ist eine Mail an Studiocanal zu senden mit der Rechnung (oder wer sie nicht hat mit Screenshots von der Bestellbestätigung) – that’s it!In dem Sinne viel Spaß mit einer würdigen Kollektion des Antihelden unter den Kinoregisseuren.
