AXA LED lights steady for LUXX70 plus side Dynamo, black [Misc.]

I've owned this light for about 2 years now. It's not the brightest light out there, but it sufficiently lights the road and I have no issues using it on a country road in the middle of the night. I love the built-in USB charger. Along with my SP PD8X dynamo hub, it will charge my phone as long as the screen is off. I use RideWithGPS, but once I start it, I turn the screen off. This keeps my phone charging. If I use the screen, it slows down the discharge having it plugged in, but it still discharges. I like that it has a "slow" mode that automatically turns on when i slow down, like climbing a hill. It adds a close-up light that shines directly in front of the bike. Very useful. I keep it in auto mode so that there is no drag in the daytime, but there is light when I need it. All in all, I love this light.It has a ton of features!

HolaThis unit appears to be "Data Equal" to every thing Busch & Müller's LUXOS U LOMOTECH IQ2 is stating.Now to wait for when they are On Sale.

For years I have had a dynamo on my Brompton and also on my Btwin city hack but never even considered it for my racing or winter bikes. Question is, why not for winter? Especially as I am increasingly keeping my race bike 100% race ready and using my winter bike more and more.So, I this time as I was building my new winter bike I decided to get a hub dynamo that was powerful enough for a light and a USB charging point (a Shimano DH-UR705-3D Dynamo hub, 6v 3w). I didn't know which light to choose but saw some beautiful American lights and USB systems but the price was so high. I thought that this looked really interesting, had some good reviews and was from a company with production facilities in the Netherlands and was a fantastic price. The price convinced me that if all went wrong then at least I haven't paid too much.Putting it onto the bike was extremely easy and it worked immediately. Plug 'n Play!The only downside I can see is that I can't use the light and the USB at the same time. Obviously, this would need more power but the light simply allows one or the other. I only use the USB for keeping my Garmin 820 running when navigating and I'm unlikely to need navigation at night so this is not a problem at the moment.The light itself is good to give pretty good visibility across an unlit road. I will always take a spare along with me, just in case. That is an old habit that I will not let go of!I haven't rigged up a rear light yet, maybe sometime soon.

Il miglior fanale che possa esistere finora, ne ho avuti diversi fanali della AXA ma quanto supera tutti, primo si accede e si spegne da solo e anche rapidissimo basta che vede buio si accende appena vede luce si spegne, poi camminando ad una velocità al di sotto dei 15 Km/h si accende il faro corto appena si supera i 15 Km/h si accende il faro lungo bellissimo, poi ancora resta più di 4 minuti accesso dopo che ti sei fermato, ed in ultimo la presa USB funziona al di sopra dei 15 Km/h è carica il mio iPhone 6S Plus una meraviglia. Comunque lo consiglio a tutti chi vorrebbe acquistare un fanale di alte prestazioni perché una luce fantastica come un faro di un'auto.

Kann mich den anderen Rezensionen nur anschliessen: die Lampe ist im Rahmen dessen, was die StVO zulässt, so ziemlich eine der hellsten, die ich kenne. Auch von der Seite ist die Lampe gut zu sehen. Die USB-Ladefunktion ist für Radreisen zum Nachladen des Navis bzw. des Mobiltelefons tagsüber sehr praktisch. Habe eine mehrtägige Radwanderung Deutschland-Österreich und zurück mit Navi hinter mir. Der Akku meines sehr betagten Medion-Navis (Auto, theoretisch auch Rad + Fußgänger) hält normalerweise ohne Nachladen nur 30 Minuten durch. An der USB-Buchse des Axa-Scheinwerfers hat das Navi die ganze Reise durchgehalten - allerdings bei tagsüber ausgeschaltetem Licht.Soweit ich kein Navi/ Handy laden muss, lasse ich das Licht auch tagsüber immer angeschaltet. Ähnlich wie bei Motorrädern betrachte ich das als Sicherheitsfaktor. Ich bin froh, dass es dieses Variante mit manueller An- und Abschaltmöglichkeit weiterhin gibt. Ein automatischer Dämmerungsschalter, wie er den Radlern jetzt von vielen Lampenherstellern aufgenötigt wird, würde das unmöglich machen und ist eigentlich eine "Verschlimmbesserung"!!Vorgewarnt durch andere Rezensionen habe ich die Halterung von vorneherein nicht nach vorne ausgerichtet, sondern senkrecht nach oben eingestellt und festgeschraubt, damit nicht das Gewicht des Lampengehäuses wie ein Hebel die Halterung im Laufe der Zeit nach unten drückt (Hebelgesetz!), Den Winkel nach vorne habe ich erst unmittelbar am Lampengehäuse eingestellt. Diese Art der Befestigung ist sehr stabil und hält nun schon seit langem unverändert (nach mehreren Ländertouren mit vielen, vielen Kilometern).Ich hoffe, das bleibt so. Den Axa-Scheinwerfer kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde ihn jederzeit wiederkaufen! Nachtrag: die Montage habe ich von einem großen Fahrradhändler vornehmen lassen (nicht weil ich es nicht gekonnt hätte, sondern weil ohnehin eine große Insepktion fällig war). Der Monteur war von der Lampe begeistert, er wollte sich auch diese Lampe zulegen.

Bonjour,On va commencer par le point négatif : j'ai du attendre plus d'une semaine pour le recevoir (en Belgique) :-( Habituellement cela prend 3-4 jours. c'est toujours comme cela quand on est pressé ;-)J'ai eu un peu du mal à monter le feu avant à cause des fils qui se touchaient au niveau du connecteur qui se place dans la dynamo moyeu... il m'a fallu une plombe pour trouver le problème ;-)Une fois mis en place, il éclaire super bien ! (testé uniquement dans des tunnels pour l'instant), j'ai testé l'usb en rechargeant mon Samsung S4 Mini et il rechargeait :-)En fait, j'avais lancé une application SportyPal (qui utilise le GPS) et le portable se rechargeait tout doucement mais il ne perdait pas de batterie -> c'est ce que je recherchais.Le phare reste allumé quelques temps également, très pratique quand on est à l'arrêt au feu rouge :)

Montado en una buje interno de 6v y 2,4w. Lo ideal será montarlo en un buje de 6v y 3w para exprimir toda la potencia. por lo demas el faro funciona perfectamente. Lo pones en modo auto y te despreocupas de encenderlo. Da una luz muy buena, infinitamente mejor que el halógeno que llevaba la bici de fábrica. Compra recomendable al 100%. Si se combina con una luz trasera de dinamo, como es mi caso, la satisfacción es completa.
