The best socks I've tried!!
I work in a glass factory, making bottles 8 hours a day. It's hot, it's messy, it's dangerous and I'm walking in glass a lot in a normal day and up changing equipment on the machine which burns the heck out of me, even though I'm wearing work boots. The steels toe and steel plate get HOT!! I've tried other sock that either stretch out, wear thin on the bottom and just aren't comfy. These get the the crap beat out of them daily and they're still comfortable, yeah, my feet get warm, but with what I do, that's unavoidable. Yeah, they cost a bit more, but they're worth every penny!! The cushion has worn down some after a few months of washing and wearing, but they still hold up and these are the only work socks I'll buy!!

Was my favorite sock (thick, durable, excellent)... ordered 5 pairs and today they are thin and worthless!
The ones I bought here in Nov 16 was thick and AWESOME!, the ones I reordered today are thin and returning them, not the same quality, didn't pay attention to where made!===UPDATE 08/9/2017====Look at the photo, less of the black fiber, look at length, look at the loose thread, see the build quality and wish I could show thickness better. Just look closely at the sock. you can clearly see quality and workmanship differences..Just called Dickies in reference to the socks that I just got in today. The ones I got in from Dickies.com for $12 a pair is the same poor, thin low quality sock.I got the following information from Dickies on if they make them or just badge their name on them. The company that makes the Kevlar Reinforced Steel Toe Crew sock is Royce Too, LLC and their number is 304-579-4221.They are the actual company that Dickies gets their inventory from and manufacture of the sock. The issue is the sock is now made in Pakistan and is HORRIBLE quality and cheaply made.===UPDATE===Got to love prime!!.. Been amazon for 14yrs and love hassle free returns. With that said, I went to dickies.com and bought my socks as I got here from amazon, llc.. $12 a pair but made in Pakistan...In process of returning them to dickies.com as well but lots of hassle!... Wish I would have bought another sock on Amazon.

Long Lasting Sock
UPDATE - in addition to what I originally wrote below: It's been over a YEAR now, and these socks are still going strong! I don't wear them in hot weather, but I've worn them all the time, at work and at home, about eight months of the year. The best socks I have ever bought!I've been wearing these socks to work for 4½ months now and they show no signs of wear at all. Other Dickies socks, not Kevlar, start wearing out in a couple of weeks. They are VERY warm, so I can't expect to wear them too much longer (it's now April 15 and I work at night) as they will be too hot, but for cold weather they are very comfortable and appear that they will last a LONG time (which is why you pay extra for these socks). The only downside is that some pairs (in my case, one out of four) have a really large 'lump' where the seams come together and unless you make sure to position that 'lump' over your big toe they will be VERY uncomfortable. Other than that they are great - they don't twist around while I wear them (as other Dickies socks do, as well as other brands) and they don't fall down - they stay where they should and provide lots of cushioning against the ravishes of work boots. You also have to be very careful about how you remove all of the tags, as those plastic things that connect them to the socks (that all manufacturers use) are very tight and if not done properly you'll tear threads of the socks which will accelerate wear.

Best socks ever made!!!
These are awesome socks. I have never been excited about socks before but I will explain why the kevlar stitching is so great. I have had 13 surgeries on my left leg and foot, my heel on my foot has a permanent scab type of thing on it. I know it sounds horrible and gross but I have lived with it since I was 16 and I'm 37 now. Anyway, when I put on and especially take off socks, strings and stitching always catch on this scab thing on my heel. I have ripped and unraveled thousands of socks. I have had these socks for at least 3 months now and I have not ripped or unraveled even one string. If the price seems a little steep for one pair, trust me, they are well worth it. I have never had a pair of socks last this long without any damage. I love these socks. Also, Dickies has always been a quality product, so I'm not surprised.

Factory worker approved.
I never write reviews for products, but I was compelled to do so for these as I can't recommend them enough. I'm a manufacturing welder, so I'm on my feet in steel toed boots for around 12hrs a day standing on hard floor surfaces. I used to have quite a bit of foot pain even after getting some good insoles. These socks, coupled with a good set of insoles have made that a thing of the past for me. The difference between these and a standard pair of crew socks is noticeable immediately. They are about twice the thickness of a normal sock, which gives you that added cushion, not to mention the reinforced toes and heal cups. They are a tad warm in the hot days of summer, but fall through spring they are totally fine. If you're on your feet all day, I fully recommend these. I initially bought 2 pairs, and I've since bought enough pairs to wear them daily at work.

But it seems like the second time I bought them
It's a bit pricey, but there are seriously the only socks that hold up to all the walking I have to do at work. Everything else, the heels blow out within a week. I'm putting these socks to work. But it seems like the second time I bought them, they were different. I bought two pairs at $8 a piece and later bought another pair at $14. The second purchase was obviously the same brand and all, but was slightly tighter and the arch support was yellow instead of black. Still good, but I think I prefer the first ones I bought. And the arch support--it's not too tight. I have flat feet and I have trouble finding socks and insoles lately because this arch support thing seems to be everywhere. I was worried about it when I bought these, but I'm grateful that it isn't overbearingly tight. Just ribbed slightly.
