I bought these in March when paper products were...all the rage, shall we say? These shop towels are a great replacement for paper towels. They also hold up surprisingly well (at least to me) in the washer and dryer. Four months in, I still haven't pulled half of the towels out of the original packaging because I'm able to keep using the items.Now...they do shed a bit and they are not super-absorbent. However, they get the job done, they kept me from worrying about a paper towel apocalypse, and they've let me help the environment by using many (MANY) fewer paper towels over the last four months. - TBH, I never dreamed shop rags...sorry, shop "towels" would be one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon.

During the 2020 Covid-19 Quarantine we were running low on paper towel and they were back ordered everywhere. Purchased these to use around the house and they are doing great for everything from Kitchen and Bathroom cleaning to odd jobs in the garage. They aren't super absorbent but a couple will get the job done then we wash them. There are so many in this package that there are always some available and the are relatively lint free (after a wash). And they are cheap enough that if one gets so soiled in the garage that you don't want to run them in the garage you don't feel guilty throwing them away.

I’ve had these over two years now. At first they were kind of stiff, even after the first two or three washes. Now they have been washed dozens of times and are soft and absorb well. They appear to be a woven fabric and are not stretchy. They’ve gotten the job done for me. If you’re buying them for cleaning or everyday napkin/ paper towels, they work well just wash them a few times before judging their texture and absorption. If you’re getting them for one time shop use then like I said, they’re kind of stiff and don’t absorb well fresh out the pack.

Upon opening package there was lint of various colors and fabric type all over the towels. I also noticed that several of the towels are smaller than the others by a considerable amount. I attempted to do a prewash of the towels to ensure they were actually clean as some of them have pink and red stains all over them. When they went through my washing machine they actually caused a clog in our pipes from the amount of lint that ended up coming off of them. Literally flooding our home. After that fiasco, I tried to put them through the dryer. I had to run the dryer three separate times removing as much lint from the lint trap as I possibly could in between each dry. The amount of lint that comes off of the towels is insane. I guess if you're looking to use them once and then throw them away, these might be something that you're looking for. Reusable they are not, as I cannot clean them without clogging my pipes and I fear drying them now since the lint trap is so full every single time I empty it, Even multiple times during the same dry cycle. They become tangled in their own lint ripping and tearing and just causing more lint. These towels are more like terry cloth or gauze. Also each one is a slightly different cut and color some are nearly brown while others are white and others still are light pink. Overall terrible quality, and unfortunately they will end up in the trash.

These are very thin. For me they are limited use. Size was ok.
