Really good for dispensing fabric conditioner. Works every time. Highly recommend

I was a little sceptical as some reviews said it opened prematurely, or didn't open at all - but have used it a few times and it works perfectly (even though I have a front loader!). My dispenser tray kept blocking - no idea why - so this seemed to be the perfect solution (no pun intended!) and it works exactly as expected. Brilliant.

I wasn’t convinced these balls would work, but they absolutely do. Brilliant idea. My washer wasn’t dispensing thick fabric softener so I thought I’d give these a go. FANTASTIC. Good value price and do the job. I also don’t need to be constantly cleaning the dispenser drawer on my washer.

When it opens it works well, sadly it doesn't always, or can open partially/too late to realise all contents. That said we use it in a front loader automatic machine (as drawer dispenser wasn't working) and it's a definite improvement. Works well on longer faster spin cycles.

Makes the washing really soft and smelling gorgeous much more than using the draw on the machine.

The washing machine's dispenser tray stopped working, as it's fairly old, I decided it's not worth the repair cost and decided to try using this. Works okay but difficult to determine at what point the fabric softener is released. Suffice to say that I'm using twice the dosage of softener to get the same result as when the machine's dispenser tray was working. I assume this may be due to it being designed for an American top loader, not the usual UK front loader. Addendum: After 17 washes the first plastic chain broke. Perhaps that's why they come in sets of 3.

Works great for keeping clothes soft when there is no dryer

I have used these for years. They are great for apartment living when you have to go to a laundry room. No running to add softener. A lot of washing machines in apartment buildings lock when they start so you can pop these in at the beginning.
