the device is super easy to use, and from what i can tell, it is pretty actuate.Both sides are threaded, so use a union on one side if you ever plan on cleaning the fan blade in the pipe that does the measuring.Battery life seems ok (its been 3 months and no low battery issues in 40 F degrees lows and 60F degree highs.The viewing angles are a little weird. Like, looking right at it, it appears off or in power save mode, but from about 5 or 10 degree angle, then it seems clear???? i dont know.changing the settings are a little complicated, and I am not even going to begin to figure out how to change the battery?

I bought two of these. The nice thing about it, you can turn the screen 90° at a time to make reading easy.Unfortunately, the little screws that hold the screen go into the hard acrylic and both units promptly broke. And then the hall effect sensor is too far to read the turbine.Then, there is no place to anchor a wrench, so you are stuck hand tightening the 1" NPT connections. Sure enough, they leak.Don't waste your money.

The product was dead on arrival. I unfortunately discarded the packaging without testing it. When I tried to use it, it did nothing. I tried to replace the battery... still nothing. It was like throwing money away and there's no way to find any information on the manufacturer. I'm very disappointed. If zero stars was an option, that would be appropriate for a device that does nothing at all.

It measures good, but the case durability isn't hard, it breaks easy

Don't waist your time or money on this meter! It has stainless steel inserts for the threaded fitting and I can not get it to stop leaking when I apply pressure. The system I am trying to use this on has 40 psi and is water. I tried using PVC adapters with Teflon tape, it leaked. I then tried brass close nipples with tape, it leaked. I tried thread dope alone as well as dope and tape, it still leaked. I then tried the brass nipple with silicone sealer and it leaked. I am now going to try to find one of these with a slip fit for PVC. I can't comment on the unit's function since I can't get passed the leaking.
