Seems to be decent quality, made out of plastic but it does work well.

Likes: very fast and easy for grating hard or semi-hard cheeses. Dislikes: May have to scrub the grater a bit to get the cheese off. Otherwise easy to clean. I enjoy using it and look forward to applying it to other uses.

This is one of the best investments, what a time saver. Although the dicer attachment does not come with this model ,I did purchase it separately and definitely spend the extra money to get it.

We've used this infrequently over the years, because it just does not work very well. The noise level is fine, it. just does not work well with our Kitchen aid mixer. The whole attachment surges when firmly attached to the mixer base, and it does not do well when processing leafy vegetables.

First off I love using my Kitchenaid stand mixer, so I love getting and using the available attachments. I came across the KitchenAid food processor attachment and immediately thought about how this product would save space in my kitchen. A food processor that attaches to my stand mixer! I’m sold. I was so excited that I quickly bought this. I should have checked this product out more before purchasing. First off the product is not a food processor. You cannot kneed dough or chop nuts in this. The only thing this does is slice and shred veggies. You can dice vegetables if you purchase the vegetable dicing blade attachment. This model does not come with it, so you have to buy separately. I do like the way this slices, and shreds, but again it’s not a full blown food processor. I decided to keep this, but decided to get a food processor blender combo too, because I still need a complete food processor system. So be aware that when you purchase this your not getting a food processor, but instead your getting a slicer shredder instead. Maybe the engineers at KitchenAid will someday create a complete food processor that attaches to the KitchenAid stand mixer. One more thing. The feed on the slicer/shredder is not very wide, so you have to cut whatever your slicing into 3rd’s. Overall this gets 3 stars for what it can’t do.

It's very good and not noisily. Comparing to other models, the advantage to this is that we can place the cut food straight to the container to store in the refrigerator or freezer. When we use other models that have their own containers, we have to exchange the food to the another container. Also, this model has an attached part that completely avoid the contact processor-food. The only thing I would like to have in this model it would be a larger entrance for the food. It is too small in my opinion, so we have to cut some food in order to fit in.

If you do a lot of cooking, you need this device.

extremely satisfied with the kitchen gadget. Would be great if the dicer blade gets bundled at a reasonable price.However one really needs the special box for housing the blades.
