Suddenly I'm being attacked by those horrible, infinitesimal to the point of invisible ** NO-SEE-UMS **. These teeny tiny blood-sucking monsters have saw-like teeth and leave a bite that not only itches terribly but hurts (as in REAL PAIN). Their bite makes mosquito bites seem like child's play, but no worries because After Bite takes care of both!I guess I bought one of these a few years ago but forgot about it. Recently, after suffering greatly through 2 rounds of no-see-um bites that were red, hot, horribly swollen with one being probably 3" in diameter, I was desperately looking through the med cab for a n y t h i n g to help because scratching wasn't doing the trick. Found the old After Bite stick and shook it. Then applied to the bites and... ahhhhh. Relief! The redness went away and the swelling started going down almost immediately. If I felt it coming back, I just applied more. If you've gotten bitten by these tiny beasts, you understand.Then I decided I should buy a new and fresh one - saw the 6 pack and bought that so I could give away to others equally tortured by these evil creatures. Now I keep one in my purse, one in the car and, yes, one on the nightstand. I still shake before applying (and carefully smell the applicator to make sure the ammonia is activated).Then my son's girlfriend told me about something she uses and also bought on Amazon. It's called Bite Thing Suction Tool. It sucks the venom out and is also awesome. I bought the 3-pack of those. Honestly, "After Bite" and the "Bite Thing" together are exactly what's needed to stop the pain, itching, redness and horrible swelling of no-see-um and mosquito bites.[NOTE: On bad bites, I have to scratch the bite a tiny bit to open it but once I do that, I use both products and together they are the perfect cocktail to relieve all the torture that the saw tooth monsters inflict on me.]I WON'T BE WITHOUT EITHER OF THESE WONDERFUL PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN!

Hard to find this in my local stores, so happy to find it on Amazon. I've tried the other varieties of this product that don't contain ammonia, and they don't stop the itch like this does. I can use a little of this on a mosquito bite, and the itch lessens to the point I don't want to claw my skin off. And it acts as a disinfectant, as well, so if I do scratch a bit, I won't get an infection going.

I specifically ordered this product because the description said it contained ammonia and they are becoming difficult to find. What arrived was straight baking soda. So disappointed! Doesn't work for me at all.

It's about the only thing that can nuetralise the itch for me.

They Work so good that I bought 6 After Bite sticks. If you use it immediately after the mosquito bites you it really works great! I keep one in my pocket when I’m outside working in the yard.

My family cannot survive a summer without after bite. We have tried other products on the market, but they are the best!

It works well for relieving itch.I find it to be faster than Benedryl.
