Sprouted nuts from the Phillipines? Huh! It's delicious. No, REALLY!
What the heck is a Peel - ee - nut (Pili)? Close your eyes and plop one in your mouth. Feels cool on the tongue. Bite down and it feels like a soft white chocolate (rather than a hard dark chocolate). It breaks into little pieces immediately. Then, almost dissolved on your tongue like a foam on a head of beer. Then, you begin to taste it, kind of almost no taste at all, then you get a hint of macadamia but not exactly. Then, you squeeze your tongue to the roof of your mouth and you get remnants as if bits of coconut were transported by sleight of hand. Holy smokes what is this? Read on!This is a sprout of something grown in the Phillipines. I conjure up images of an Irish distillery roasting barley over smoke on the expanse of a whiskey barley cellar. I'm sure it doesn't look anything like a whiskey maker's factory. These look like someone (gross warning) pulled fingernails and created some kind of confectionary. It has the color of a light pale almond.Ok, so fool me once...as the saying goes! And this nut is filled to the brim with thiamin, magnesium & manganese. Isn't the USA dirt depleted of magnesium? Are we all magnesium deficient?Holy smokes, is this delicious or what? Buy it. Buy it now. Note that there is only 5 servings to a 5 oz bag...1 oz fits on the center of your palm.

Better than Macadamias but too costly.
Received these today. They came very quickly. The nuts tastes great and I like them even more than Macadamias but unfortunetly I will not be reordering them because for $15.00 you literally only get 2 handfuls of nuts. Of all the Pili nuts I've tried these were the best. Easy to chew with a buttery taste to them.

Worth it!
Don't let the price stop you from buying this brand of Pili Nuts, it's totally worth it! I tried a different brand for less sold on Amazon and ended up wasting money because they tasted terrible and actually gave me a stomach ache. To Jason the founder, thank you for making these available in the U.S.!!

THE BEST nut we’ve ever tasted!! Butter flavor and totally Keto friendly!!
I have to tell you that these are our absolute favorite nut now! I wish we could get them in local grocery stores they are that good. Reminds me of Macadamia nuts but oh so much better. Highly highly recommend these especially if you’re on a keto lifestyle. Can’t wait to order ours again the only concern I have is the price could be prohibitive to buying it more than once a month. I think one of the things that jumped out at us was the fact that it was sprouted which Dr. Berg and Thomas Delauer I believe have both stated that sprouted nuts are much easier on your digestive system and overall better for you. I have one car but the one fiber washes that out so very high in fat no carbs or sugar it’s great!

Expensive, Not Good
I love almost all nuts. Eat them every day.1. To me, these had a weird chemical taste - maybe my batch was rancid. Expiration date was 6 months away, so maybe that's just the way they taste. Different tongues perceive things differently. Maybe I'm strange, but couldn't imagine finishing the bag.2. Texture is very soft. If you're a keto-head, one thing you search for is "crunch" - not going to find it here.3. Price. Ridiculous for the value.Bottom line: I'd never consider trading macadamias, almonds, etc. for these.

OMG these nuts are dangerous people, but they're SO DANG GOOD!
I saw some reviews online from Keto Connect, constantly raving about Pili Nuts and thought to myself "there's NO WAY a small bag of nuts can be worth that price!".. boy was I wrong! They are SO delicious and SO filling, the fat content is super high for keto diets it is perfect for your macros. The flavor is intense, the only warning I can provide is portion control can be difficult because they're honestly the best type of nuts I've ever eaten AND super low in carbs!

Meh nut flavor.. mooshy .. ish.
If you took long-boiled Spanish peanuts, and infused them with solid coconut oil.. you could approximate the flavor and texture of these. They are maybe 3 times the length of a Spanish peanut. Otherwise similar ... if peanuts are over boiled. They toasted up easily by baking alongside some sugar cookies.Still softer than a boiled nut due to HIGH oil content.Nothing unpleasant in the flavor unless you dont care for solidified coconut oil flavor. [Similar .. but not the same]
