Sleeves work very well to protect the arms when welding. High grade leather, stitching seems well done, and the fit is great. I’m 6’-3 & 225 lbs with fairly long arms and no fitment problems. Snaps at cuffs are solid and hold like they should. Would recommend and will buy again if these ever wear out.

I use these sleaves not only for welding but for prunning blackberries.They work well.

Purchased on wife's account. Bought these for pruning rose and other bushes, really protects my arms from getting poked and scratched. I have long arms and they fit perfectly. They have a moderate leather solvent oder so I aired them out and it helped. Price was great. Quality much better than expected. Would buy again, and recommend to those who want protection while pruning bushes. I would think that they would provide adequate protection while welding too.

Excellent product, works as it was intended. Sleeves stay in place really well. Does a great job of keeping slag from sticking when air arcing.

The material feels good to the touch. It resists sparks really well. I used them to do vertical welds. I put the sleeves on even though I was wearing a mig welding fire resistant jacket. I did not sweat, with these sleeves, at all. I made a good purchase with this item. The material it is made of does not weigh much, maybe it is not full 100% cowhide, but am impressed by how much spark debris it resists. After all I did vertical welding with them and they served their purpose, well.

So these are definitely what I was looking for. Although they are a little to long for me. That's the reason for the 4 star's instead of 5. Maybe make some for women that don't have such long arms.

They look very nice not simple and formless, they are also very durable, comfortable and very useful.

My husband is a welder and these sleeves have been so good to him he loves them! He usually comes home with burns on his arms but lately he's been burn free.
