Aqua Mix Grout Release - Quart

Easy to use

I'm using a light-colored tile with dark-colored grout. The tile is Roman style porcelain, which means that the tile surface has lots of little grooves and small holes in the surface. The grout tends to get stuck in these grooves, leaving the surface looking like it has chicken pox.Aqua Mix seems to be one of the few grout release products on the market. You can't exactly just go to Home Depot and pick some up. But needing to try something, I gave this a shot.The product was easy to apply. It has a very thick, mucous-like texture, leaving a very slick film on the tile surface. This did cause the grout to wipe off easily, but it didn't do much to release it from all the little grooves.In the end, the result was slightly less of the chicken-pox look, but it wasn't quite the grout-free look I had hoped to achieve.

Works well. Seems it would have been very difficult to get grout off the wavy glass mosaic tiles I installed but this stuff help a lot. Worth the trouble and small expense to use this product.

Used on stone mosaic with Fusion Pro grout. Some sections were without grout release, some with one application of the grout release and some with 2 applications of the grout release. I noticed no difference in the wiping off of the excess grout.

Worked great, my epoxy grout didn't stick to the top of the wood grain tile at all

it didn't stop the grout from sticking in the basalt tile backsplash

I used this product on Koni Brick before grouting. It was easy to apply. I'm guessing it helped with the grout clean up, but the grout never completely came off. i was expecting more protection from the Grout release.
