Hosa GPP-273 1/4 Inch TRS to Same Right-Angle Adaptor

I bought a Boss Katana Air a few months ago with the intention of playing my electric guitar outside on our deck due to how the unit can run on batteries. I didn't want to have a cable running indoors as I would have to leave the door open and I didn't want any bugs flying into the house. I didn't do my research properly as if I did I would have found that the Katana Air has a small problem. The wireless receiver that comes with the Katana Air doesn't fit into either of my Ibanez guitars as the transmitter that's attached to the jack is blocked by the body of the guitar. One of my guitars has the input jack at the side, the other is on the front of the guitar at an angle. If the transmitter jack was perhaps 1/4 of an inch longer I wouldn't have had any problems. I bought this item in the hope that I could use the transmitter and I'm pleased to say from my initial trials it works perfectly. I was a little worried at first as I thought the length of the jack would still give me problems but it worked like a charm. The Katana Air transmitter plugs in snugly and so far hasn't fallen out. If you have a Katana Air and you are having problems connecting the wireless transmitter to your guitar like I did, I would give this a try. It's an inexpensive item and it just might work for you. Admittedly it doesn't look as invisible as the transmitter does when it plugs directly into your guitar as it does stick out more. However, if you want to use your amplifier wirelessly it might be worth the sacrifice. I should also note that with the new Boss Katana headphones coming out it might give you more reason to try this product. I can't speak for any other transmitters as I only have the Katana Air.

No issues, reworked pedal board and had everything locked down the way I wanted it and realized I had buried my final output jack. Needed a cheap and simple option to go 90 degrees and voila! If I ever rework the board and don’t need I’m sure I’ll use it somewhere else. Good price.

I bought this with the idea of cleaning up the space of my headphone setup on my desk. I didn't quite think through how thick the housing is and how much it protrudes. In my application it helps with the cable arrangement as expected but it blocks my access to the amplifier gain nob badly enough it's not worth it. If size is not an issue for you, you should have no reservations - It is solid, well made, and works.

I purchased this to transform a Monster Keyboard Cable - Straight to Straight 1/4" plugs to right angle at one end. The female connection mated perfectly with the Monster cable. Note that that cable is relatively high end with beefy plugs, so I did not expect problems with this adapter and have not experienced any. Since my instrument is a keyboard there is practically zero movement or opportunities for the connections to jiggle. In addition to no issues or complaints about the female end, I am as happy with the male plug, which has firmly mated with a few amps and a PA. If there is any issue, it's the fact that this adapter adds a lot of bulk to the end into which you plug a cable. On my keyboard it does protrude, especially with the cable I cited above. But the sound quality is noise free with my arrangement, and as I said, the connections at each end are firm and solid. It may just come down to the quality of cable that you intend to use with this adapter. For the Monster model I am using this is a perfect way to change one straight end to angled.

Okay, these actually work really well, which I'm thankful for. They do exactly what they state - Convert straight angle TRS to TRS to right angle. This allows me to use my cables of choice but allow for me to use the right angle for low-profile use on my electronic drums. I bought about 10 of these and mostly have no issues. One thing that concerns me is the 'fit' in my vdrums isn't super tight. There seems to be a little bit of wiggle room. But it has not had an effect even after heavy use on the drums, so I am willing to overlook it considering it does what I need it to do. Only way I could see this device improving is making it somewhat lower profile. I understand we're nesting a 1/4" input into this, but it still looks and feels bulky.

Hose cable adapters and cables are the best studio economy connections on the market. I've used them in my studio for years and have yet to have a failure.

Works as advertised, no issues, good price and quality

I purchased this to connect to my monitor controller's headphone out. The headphone output causes the headphone jack to stick out some and its making it hard for me to have my keyboard on the desk. This adapter takes care of that issue. I can now connect my headphones using this adapter and not worry about the headphone jack sticking out and taking up so much real estate. Best few bucks I spent in 2021.
