I live in Chicago, the Windy City. Yes, yes, I know, named that way for the politicians. BUT, we do get a lot of foul weather and strong winds too. And this umbrella has been able to survive two lousy falls, winters and springs. Elegant, sturdy, extremely well made. Love it.

This is the single best umbrella I’ve ever owned. I get loads of compliments on it, and it’s big. I also love the way the canopy deploys. One press of the button, and it opens with such force that it almost pulls you forward a little.

Very nice solid design. Feels strong like it won't bend the opposite way that it's supposed to with a stiff wind. Although it catches the wind and pulls pretty hard. I feel like having a double top is the best design because it allows air to vent between the two sections when there is a big gust of wind instead of pulling you and the umbrella with it. This is the only reason I am giving it a 4 stars. It does deserve a 5 star for build quality with the price factored in.

This umbrella has never let me down in the two years I've owned it. Be aware that it's a large umbrella that comfortably fits two people—city dwellers may run into issues walking down busy sidewalks or paths with low-hanging tree branches.

Great umbrella! As a tall guy, regular umbrellas don't cover me that much. With this one, I can walk under the rain with no problem. Also the structure seems really solid and durable.

This item arrived in the mail broken. Very cheaply made umbrella.

Very beautiful and sturdy umbrella with double-jointed rib supports so it won't break even in strong winds. It covers a huge area, enough to fit two people under it. My only concern is the red button, which is made of a weak plastic and feels like it might not last, but so far, no problems.
