So far no issues. I did a one for one swap with the old one. But I think there is an issue with this type of HHD, at least for what my girlfriend needs it for in her laptop. Mainly downloading and watching movies. It can put too much strain on this type of drive. The last one was less than 2 years old. Same exact HHD. If it fails again, I will be swapping brands.

Item was installed within moments of receipt and was able to put customers laptop back in working state.

This thing is DOG SLOW. These days everyone has solid state drives (SSD) or 7200 RPM (fast mechanical) drives at the least. It doesn't matter if it connect to SATA at 6.0, the drive itself is the problem. This is the oldest and slowest hard drive standard. On a brand new Dell laptop, this laptop is literally the slowest computer in the house, including a middle-of-the-line 2013 MacBook pro. Do not want.

We have a client with one of these. An anti virus scan or Drop Box sync will bring this system to it's knees with the drive pegged at 100%. So slow that you simply cannot open an application if anything is running in the background (like Windows indexer).

This little drive catches way too much grief. You never want to utilize this for an OS/boot drive. Use it for an archive drive and it excels as such. Trash this excellent and inexpensive drive when you're using it for the wrong purpose. /facepalmMine is 4 years old, tomorrow and zero errors across it's disk. No, it's not speedy, it's far from quick. But it is reliable and inexpensive.

This hard drive is junk why Dell put in the 3263 all in one computer is a question that I have asked dell and since it is out of warranty they do not care. I am trying to find out now if I can replace it with a 1T SSD and if so I will do that and then I will next year purchase and Apple Computer. To Hell with Dell.

I know why Dell is in a falling down. Who in the right mind install a WD hard drive on a brand name product. This hard drive is total junk/.Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
