Gets cold fast, great compact size
The displayed temp is off by about 10 degrees. Other than that it works great. The 19 quart size fits perfectly on the back floor between tue front seat of my truck for easy access. Great price for what you get

review of fridge
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product is really good on the use of power, it works great, The separate departments is very good, it also gets as cold as the display says, the only thing i wish it has was a app to allow me to see the status and control the unit.

very nice
temperatures on the cooler definitely are not correct as actual with a stand along thermometer. they are usually off by 5-10 degrees. once you get past that then you can plan your correct temp. most portable coolers have this issue so its not a stand alone thing. the cooler itself works great and keeps things cold and has been awesome for all my trips.

35watts after cooldown plugged into AC
Power: Cooldown draws roughly 65watts max plugged into the AC outlet (normal house outlet) and then goes down to 35watts to keep cool.Temp controls: a bit inaccurate but not too far off the mark. It seems to cool more than the controls are set for. If you’re freezing large quantities, pre-freeze some in a home freezer if possible, then fill the freezer with the warm items near the walls and your pre-frozen in the middle. Running the whole thing as a freezer draws 45-65 plugged into AC outlet, but doesn’t run all the time if it remains closed. The toughest experiment for this thing was freezing 60 balls of pizza dough for 3 days in 100+ F temperatures outside. It did the job like a champ! It was choc-a-bloc full of dough balls! Running the whole thing as a freezer was a bit strategic for the initial freeze - it didn’t want to bring a solid mass from room temp to frozen (an over-performance hope of mine), and attempting that caused wild inaccuracies in the estimated temp readings, leading to strange cooling/warming from the travel cooler. Once I froze some dough balls in my home freezer, then re-packed this cooler with the pre-frozen balls in the middle and the unfrozen on the outside, it performed like a champ. Honestly, a solid mass of dough is a big ask, and I was truly impressed that it could maintain once I got some frozen balls in the middle. It does run cooler than the readings - best to test this with each unit. I did so with a shot glass of water inside and a cooking thermometer - open the door and check the temp of the water to confirm what’s on the screen. It will hold a temp pretty well. I took a star off for the temp reading inaccuracy.

Life saver, can’t recommend highly enough
I rarely give 100% praise for items, but THIS, was a game changer for us. We are expert road trippers, & try to be efficient, especially with food, because you never know when you might get stuck, caught out etc …. Well, this happened to us twice on this last trip (more later). This purchase was so we could keep freezer blocks frozen (along with other items) & rotate them out to smaller cool packs we keep in the front seat for immediate cold drinks or snacks. Now, the freezer section is smaller (our preference) than some coolers, the actual cooler part was tight, but worked well. I chose to use only (mostly) square containers for packing foods like cheese, sandwich meats, milk, cream etc…. Even used liquid eggs (I know, not everyone’s choice) in the square box. Plus I decanted things like mayo and mustard into smaller containers (yes some were round ). We had bacon, tortillas, salad stuff ,tomatoes & fruit too. Yes, you have to pack & unpack to get to things, but really, just the convenience of having this cooler , the extra effort was with it. The freezer was exceptional! I get chills (no pun intended) thinking about it! We had extra ice blocks, frozen veggies, frozen yoghurt, and a couple of microwave dinners (just in case), we had to take cardboard outer boxes off to pack , plus even extra ice cubes if needed…..all I can say is WOW!!!!!! We had it running in the car obviously, & then when we stayed in our motel/hotel for the night, we’d just plug it in there. So, our two incidents on this trip… firstly, my hubby took a bad fall so we ended up in an ER in Canada, & we were checked out of the motel…so the cooler was plugged into the car, being cautious I unplugged it (didn’t want battery issues)…the cooler spent several hours, almost 5 I think unplugged, and everything was still frozen & cold! I was amazed … Our second incident was related to having mechanical issues and we needed to rent another vehicle & tow ours home. (The vehicle we rented had not enough space for the cooler) so we left it in our car, unplugged for 5 hours the first day (& yes stuff was still cold & frozen by check in at the next stop); & on days 2 & 3 where our travel times were prolonged due to weather etc things were still fine at about 8 hrs!!!!!!!!! still frozen & still cold.Would I recommend this item? YES YES YES YESNow, biggest cons to this item (but certainly not in a way that we’d never use this again):1: The unit is heavy (obviously) when packed….definitely a 2 person lift (or see below)2: Wheels would REALLY help ( luckily we had a small collapsible hand cart already)3: Handles are sturdy but dangerous…they’re very robust and if you don’t let go just right they trap/pinch fingers ….4: PLEASE, an extra long folding handle & wheels would make this PERFECT.

Works great, doesn't take a lot of wattage once it reaches its desired temperature.
Awesome refrigerator/freezer, I've been using it in my motorhome full time and it works awesome. Haven't had any problems with it at all.
