I have 3 of these cameras and an identical one from a different company (SnugCam). They all work the same and setup is the same. It’s really very easy. The trick to set it up is...slow down! Follow the instructions exactly. Have patience and take the time to follow the steps and think a little bit. Don’t rush through it or half-@s$ it and complain that it doesn’t work.Pros: microphone, speaker, IR night vision, nearly 360 degree camera rotation, motion sensing, push notification alert, adjustable sensitivity, record video, snap photo, automatically snaps 3 photos on motion sense, light weight, mounting hardware included, 6 programmable focal points.Cons: limited distance for sensor, no sound detection (so does not automatically rotate toward sound), indoor use only, iPhone app only accommodates 4 cameras.I’ve had a problem in the past with rodents getting in the attic. I installed 3 of these in the attic. It’s been a big help. The motion sensing with auto snapshot and push notification alerts me to anything moving in the attic and provides me with a set of photos. I have used these to strategically place baited traps and the cameras are able to monitor the traps and alert me when a rodent gets near. The sensitivity is quite delicate but the range isn’t that great. For example, I set the sensitivity very high and was sent multiple motion alerts (with pics) for a spider crawling in the attic. Later, I hear a loud noise overhead in the attic. The same camera that informed me of the spider, failed to alert me that a rat trap had sprung. The trap was only about 10 feet ahead of the trap. Not sure what happened, but the motion sensing alert didn’t trip for that.Overall, though, I’m very happy with these cameras. They work for my purpose.

false alarm alerts - if the sun brightened a room or a piece of dust floated by - u get an alert - even on lower level sensitivity settingsHORRIBLE - I can't even say 'customer support' but their customer support - doesn't exist ..... PERIODCameras would go offline randomlyCONSTANTLY resetting and reinstalling cameras and then they still didn't work - very frustratingBuy elsewhere - don't buy from them !

The camera did not come with a good manual to help get it connected. I need to get on google and YouTube to help fully.

This is the wife, not John. Just got this tonight. replacing another monitor that I don't like. But the directions to connect this one were actually not that easy. I had to connect the Ethernet cord in 2 different spots because wifi was not showing up. took longer than I like to set it up and now trying to set up my husbands phone and the camera isn't showing on his wifi. can I NOT attach two phones to this camera? BUT now that my phone is working properly, the camera is great. I can scan back and forth and up and down which I like. volume is great and clarity is good. I am excited to sleep in my own bed and be able to keep an eye on my 2 yr old if she wakes up early.

Good camera, however if you try to set it up VIA smartphone 1st it wont work. I installed the included CD on top my laptop and go it to work thru the ethernet cable. After that, I unplugged the camera from the ethernet cable and it changed over to WiFi and then went thru set-up on smartphone and it finally worked.

Great quality video but when my phone is too far away from the cAmera it won’t show live feed anymore. This is very annoying I’m not sure why it’s doing this but it’s aggaravting to have to try and set this up for 3 hours while trying to tend to my children!
