Great game
Awesome story and super graphics. Environment is pretty cool and music is fantastic. This game is similar to uncharted 1 worth buying.

Hasn't worked on both my XP and my New Win7 Pro OS!
I read the requirements before I bought this product. The PC software seems to have flaws to say the least. Both of my PC's have had more than what was asked for, for pre installation and still doesn't work. I even bought an online download of this game with no luck. I have over a week of correspondence with securROM and nothing makes it work. I guess I will not play this game; the disc has been on my shelf and I guess it's time I just bite it and toss it in the circle file (trash can).I guess there is some kind of check that was not built into the PC software package to see what drivers it likes and what drivers it doesn't.I wish I could have experienced that game, but my experiences has bee null thus the single star since there is no blank star to choose from.Update: secuROM - troubleshooting company for this softwareit took me about a month of back and forth emails with secuROM for them to fix the game. It turns out that the *.exe file wasn't working with any of my system OS's (xp nor 7). They told me it was a corrupt file on the disk. Huh? The new file was about 4kb's bigger. I tried about 3 different exe files before I got the last fix. They even tried to have me download, from a 3rtd party site, a fix; and the site explicitly stated 'for European systems only'. I had to reply to them to tell them, "look, it is for European systems only and in your reply you are stating to me that it's at my own risk? And you totally disregarded the download-sites warning for Euro system only?"Sounds like a bug to me and not corrupt software. They also, in troubleshooting and making me do things again and again, asked me about some software files/software conflicts that I might have been using (e.g. some kind of hacking software that allows me to use pirated copies of games); none of which were on my system but they seemed to assumed that I had it anyway. I had to research their type of questioning to find out what they were really asking to figure out their type of line of questioning. So now I have to assume that any time I am conversing with customer service, with regards to the gaming industry, they assume I am using illegal/hacked/ copies of the game and using some type of virtual drive. Can I get any more jaded after this? You would have thought that I was trying to collect on a multi-million insurance claim for bogus injuries.

BUYER BEWARE!! MAJOR GAME ENDING BUGS!!!
This game has a major game ending bug in one of the levels of the "Southern Mexico" portion of the game. After being stuck and confused, I looked on one of the walkthroughs at a site called Stella's Tomb Raider walkthroughs, it turns out the game has a major bug that will end your game if you did not save manually many times. If you did not play the game yet it can be avoided by using one of the walkthroughs so you do not enable the bug ( I highly recommend Stella's walkthroughs, just google the website). Also make sure you manually save the game as soon as you get to Southern Mexico in case you accidentally enable the bug, there is also another glitch in the same level further on that can be avoided. However if you already enabled the bug then it can only be fixed in 1 of 3 ways:A. you happened to save the game yourself manually at a point prior to this (Which hopefully is not too far back)B. You luckily do not enable the glitch in the gameC. You find a download and install a save game file , but that will not allow you to collect trophies and I've read many files do not work properly. So, if you have not yet purchased this game, you must look at the walkthrough guides on how to not trigger the glitch!I don't even recommend buying this game as there are a number of other possible game ending glitches. The game itself without glitches or bugs involved has nice graphics and was fun up until the glitch point, the camera needs fixing though. I would have continued playing and was enjoying the game up until that point and not rated it this low, but the fact that this glitch is so major and could only be avoided if you just happen to see it on a walkthrough or got lucky is ridiculous. If you are unlucky like me you will either be attempting to return the game or replaying it from your last save point like I did but use a walkthrough to reference glitch points!! I did this because through all the glitches it is a pretty good game.I can't believe this bug has been around for as long as it has and Eidos Interactive's only fix it solution is to avoid it in the first place..duh..gee thanks for a waste of time!So just to review.. if you must own this game, then use the walkthroughs to avoid the glitches, save constantly and hope for the best.Otherwise rent it and avoid the bugs via walkthrough also.Hope this helps.

No Regrets but could have been better!
Ok first of all I am a Tomb Raider fan and enjoy playing it very much. This is a good addition if are NOT looking for next gen gaming.I liked:- The sceneries of all the different places around the world.- Story. Which is a continuation to to "Legends".- Being a Tomb Raider game with all its puzzles. So if your a fan you'll probably like it more than if you weren't.Didnt like:- Glitchy graphics and bad animation. It makes you feel like its gonna stall.- It was somewhat short and there were no boss fights!- The ending was sudden and did not match the built hipe.- Not much of a challange. Almost didnt die once and only used Meds twice or three times throughout.- I liked "Legends" more because you could explore and unlock stuff at the mansion after you finish the game. But here, like I said, it keeps you wanting more.

A Good Game!
This Tomb Raider is really good, its better than Legend in the aspect of a more free-roam feeling. Not sure where to start off but. When I first got this game along with 3 others, it wasn't a difficult choice on which one I wanted to play first.I played this one all the way through and it was fun all the while.I don't know why everyone says this game has a bad camera, and that its frustrating...I only had about 2 if not 3 camera-moments, and that would only be when I was doing something that wasn't even called for. This game has a great camera actually, I see everything I need to see when I turn the camera.I had fun playing this game, and at this price its definitely worth it.If you liked Tomb Raider Legend, I'd advise you to buy this game at such a low price.

PS3 LOOKS GREAT ON LARA!
I am a long time player of Tomb Raider games but not a big time gamer. I found this game to be one of my all time favorite TR games. For one thing, the graphics were outstanding but more then that, I was able to customize the game play so that it was at a level easy enough for me. I was worried that I would have game glitches or freezing problems because of some of the reviews that I have read but that was not the case, which made the game even more fun. The only downer in this game for me was the fact that Lara has little to no contact with any people in this game also, the ending. I wanted to see Croft Manor restored. Over all, this game was a winner for me.

Disappointed
The shipping and everything was quick! No complaints there! However.. this game...I bought the most recent TR game (2013) basically launch date. I loved it! No problem to go back and keep playing. I figured id order a diff one and have something else to work on.. Not so much!I cant stand this game! Its so frustrating! The controls are so jerky. I cant figure ANYTHING out! Ill pass and trade it in...

Good Game
I'm a Tomb Raider fan so when I purchased a PS3 console, naturally I thought about getting this game as well as the latest TR game. As with all TR games you have to learn to think methodically in order to get through the game. The TR series of games are good for learning to think in practical terms. Last night while playing the game it got a little jittery. Don't know yet if it's my PS3 console or how the game was written.

Excellent first effort for Tomb Raider on PS3
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It has all the classic Tomb Raider elements; fast paced gunplay, acrobatic platforming and challenging puzzles. Graphically it's not hard on the eyes, and the controls are simple enough to master. My copy was a little glitchy in places, but nothing that locked the game up beyond being playable. It was good enough to make me crave the next installment to see how they can do better still.

Graphically Poor
I love the Tomb Raider reboot. These are just too primitive. I guess we've all gotten to the PS4 sustained eye candy.

Reinventing Perfection
I honestly believed that Tomb Raider Anniversary was as near perfect a game as could be possible (especially considering it was a remake). Tomb Raider Underworld is just as close to perfection, but now looks even prettier! The graphics are amazing;the worlds are huge and beg for exploration; the enemies (for the most part) are fairly intelligent; the puzzles are smart and and not too easy but not too difficult to figure out; and the overall difficulty is well balanced. I play it on the hardest mode and I get a challenge, but I never feel like I am necessarily at any great disadvantage...I love it. with the game being this good, I am not sure how the developers could get any better with future releases. But then again, I love surprises (which I failed to mention, this game as plenty of). Even though I am still adventuring within the "Underworld", I am ready for more.

Glitchy.
I wanted to love this game so bad. I loved Lara Croft since Tomb Raider 2. But the game ran into a glitch halfway through the game (using spears to create a ladder to get to a higher level, dropped a spear and could not pick it up again) and since I hadn't bothered to save for a while, I just put the game down in disgust and shelved it.

LOVE IT!
I am and always have been a fan of TR and this is the best game so far... i absolutely love that you have to think about your next move (unless you use a manual), the story line is just great and it keeps you hooked! I played the entire game in two months... and that's only because i didnt have too much time to play. I think this game is also very informative too, i never knew anything about Thor until i started playing it and the graphics and the environment are stunning!... I do believe there were a few glitches, specially with the camera as Lara was trying to jump, that was my only complaint... but the fact that the camera was always abehind her was a big plus... I just played the demo on the angel of light and i have to say that the camera position absolutely sucks! It is way too high up, i feel like if i am up in a helicopter looking down at her... it just doesnt work for me... i feel that you get more of a feeling like you are Lara when the camera was up close and it is also more enjoyable that way... But overall, this is a great game! I cant wait for the continuation to come out... i just hope they dont think that TR fans are going to be satisfied with angel of light... its a different approach... but they need to stay with the original game play... which is 100% better.
