I bought the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P smartphone gimbal and overall I’m really impressed with what it does. The 3-axis stabilisation keeps my clips nice and steady even when I’m walking or moving around, so my videos look way more professional than handheld shots. It’s quick to set up — literally unfold it, stick your phone on the magnetic mount and you’re ready to shoot. The built-in extension rod and tripod make it super flexible for selfies or low angles without carrying extra gear. The tracking features are awesome too. The gimbal follows subjects smoothly without me having to adjust manually, which is perfect for vlogs, family recordings, or content creation. Battery life is solid — I easily get around 8-10 hours of use before needing a recharge, and there’s even a USB-C port that can charge your phone while you’re filming. My only small gripe is the app experience — sometimes it can be a bit buggy or laggy depending on your phone, and some people have mentioned it crashing or not working perfectly. But for basic stabilisation and shooting, I usually just use my phone’s native camera app and it works great.

The first unit I received appeared to be used; it had some scuffs and was missing a few of the essential parts from the box. Thankfully, the return and reorder process was easy. The second one I received was in perfect, brand new condition and has worked flawlessly since. One thing to keep in mind is that the package includes no usage directions or manual. You will definitely need to go to their website and watch the tutorial videos to figure out how to balance and operate everything properly. If you get a "fresh" unit and take the time to watch the guides, it is easily the best gimbal on the market.

I've always wanted a phone gimbal for more cinematic and smooth video recording. This thing has it all. It's extendable, compact, and connect to bluetooth. Good price for a quality brand gimbal.

This gimbal is great for shooting with my iPhone. Only reason I took off a star was the battery. Recently, I'm not sure why it dies even when I don’t use it. It’s possible I’m not charging it correctly but not sure. It’s excellent in tracking and stability is great. It doesn’t weigh a lot so it’s comfortable to hold. Set up is easy just read the instructions that come with the gimbal. There is no remote control and it is compatible with most phones. Overall the functionality is great and it does what it’s supposed to do. I recommend

When you hold this thing you just fall in love with technology all over again. Besides it working flawlessly it feels good in the hand. You could buy the 7 without the p, but then you would not have the telescoping bit. But honestly you could mount on a tripod. But then you're giving up the microphone adapter which you probably don't want to do. Just great design and value for the money. Still experimenting with the remote control.

A bit wonky but does its job

For content creators or anyone prioritizing steady video, this device performs reliably. I’ll continue testing additional modes, but initial results are impressive.
