La Looks Gel #12 Power Spikes 20oz (2 Pack)

I love this product. It holds so well. I have permed hair, but want it to look natural and not frizzy. After I get out of the shower, I squirt my leave-in conditioner on. Then I put LA Looks gel on my palm and add several drops of water to make the gel thin enough to smooth/finger comb thru my hair. Next, I lean to the side to shape my curls, gently, by putting my palm under them and "lifting" the curls up. I do this to the other side and also "lift" the crown curls, too. Be careful not to jostle your head too much (don't flick your hair, or shake your head). Let your hair dry, THEN you can fluff out the curls. In the morning, I get the leave-in conditioner (which I dilute in a squirt bottle) and spritz it on my hair, doing the same thing that I did when I first put the gel in. NO NEED to add more gel. It "activates" the gel's holding power. Let it dry again, and you're off to a 2nd, 3rd, and maybe even a 4th day of "good hair days!"

Bought for my husband. It’s his favorite, but this one has no hold and the color is off, so we think it may be a different or watered down product we’ve been given.

I appreciate the holding power of this gel.

12+ means nothing. 10 works just as well. The only real difference is color. It is perfectly good hair gel. The colors and numbers are just marketing.
