WellWear Copper Wrist Splint

I have a badly sprained wrist, so I decided to try this Brace. I find it to hold the wrist absolutely rigid, and that it is easy to put on and off, but that it is a bit tight at the base of the thumb, with long straps that are hard to remove.The straps are very long; it was a bit cumbersome to pull them on the first time. But I found out when I removed them that the length has a purpose - when you take it off, there is enough strap that it remains in place. Also, the long straps hold more solidly than others I've tried.One thing I really like is that it is very easy to slip on and off (once the straps are released). I have an excellent brace that is very had to get on and off - I've actually hurt my wrist removing it. No such problems here!It works like a cast in its primary purpose of holding the wrist in place. It has two rigid bracing strips running length-wise on the top of the wrist, and a single strip on the bottom. This is by far the most rigid brace I've tried.One important note about comfort. When you put the Brace on, rotate the thumb hole towards the palm of your hand - the hole will move to the right when you tighten the strap that goes over your hand. (this is for a right handed brace obviously)I like that the fabric is resistant to odor. I have a Mueller brace that I like, but it has to be laundered weekly. So far I haven't had any smell problems with this one.Drawbacks:There are a couple of things to note: First, the thumb hole is a bit small for a large hand. I've been using it for several days, and while it works, I do constantly feel the presence of the ribbing around the thumb. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it long term. I would have preferred a couple of sizes to be available rather than "one size fits all". Second, those very long straps take a bit of effort to remove - they really grip.Summary: A great brace it you want a lot of support - probably best for medium hands. Recommended.

Metal splint is already coming out of the product. The stitches are unraveling at a fast rate. Have only wore for less than a week. NOT designed for women with small wrists. Needs tightened the entire way and then the side metal splints don’t sit where they should. Good idea but overall bad product. Will be searching for a replacement.

Purchased this for my wife. She has thin arms & wrists and we have difficulty finding a wrist brace that is small enough to support her wrist properly - until we got this one. It fits perfectly and provides great support because it is adjustable. It is a good quality product and I would recommend it to anyone.

I do a lot of typing. One day I got a soreness in my hand & near my thumb. I started paying attention to how I held my hand when I typed, and realized I that I spent all day typing with my wrists bent! In 2 days after I put this brace on, my wrist was much better! This brace is comfortable and easy to put on & take off. I am very happy to find such an easy fix for a crippling problem!! Thank you

Poor support in the thumb area. I used this to sleep in to prevent pain from a repetitive stress injury as my doctor had recommended. Unlike in the picture, there is no supportive material around the thumb and what ended up happening is it pinched the skin at the base of my thumb. I woke up the next morning with almost worse pain than I had before.

I definitely do not like this item, I opened the package and there was a very strong chemical which was nauseating to me, I tried washing it and it still smells, I have to wear a wrist support 24/7 and the smell was intolerable. I don’t recommend this particular item. Two thumbs down.

It’s great soft inside which needed when hand or wrist surgery. But it’s is also has great support brace .

The straps are difficult to unlatch. One of the straps broke off the second time time I used it. They fit fine and do the job, but I will not buy these again.
