Academy Art Supply 12 X 16 inch Acid Free Stretched Canvas 6-Pack

Probably the worst canvas I have ever purchased. You sent me a passable qualityfront & back canvas with the worst quality ones in between. Dirty, cracked frame,Damaged coatings, staples in the wrong place, totally junk. Don't you guys inspectyour Vendor's product?????? No more!

I should have read the description closer before I ordered these. The canvas feels very thin and flimsy, as if it has not been triple primed like canvases I've bought from other sources. I have submitted a question about whether or not they are primed with gesso, but haven't received an answer yet. I will not buy these again and would not recommend them.

Some slightly dented but when painting in acrylics, the cotton shrinks and becomes stretched once again when dry. Great buy for my classes which include all products in the low class cost.

Worked well for my purpose of creating a series of paintings using left over spray paints and latex paints. Thin yet well stretched. I had no problem with them.(All six canvases shown here were used to create this 36" x 32" composition.)

Canvas have punctures in them. Arrived well packed, so I assume this must be an issue that occurred during production (or process of packing)- definitely not during the transportation. It’s a pretty lousy gift I got for my nephew. I will apologize to him. These canvas might okay for some painting themed parties for children, but nothing long lasting.

I just got my 6 pcs 12x16 “Academy Art Supply” stretched canvas pack. I tried to take a pic that shows the canvas quality. I like the weight (it’s light) and not sheer or thin. Exactly what I wanted to.I see ppl saying some of it came ruined. Seeing the package I know why smth like that could happen. The package was just a regular grayish plastic bag. It was delivered open on one side (half way). Everything looks fine as for right now accept the corners of 2 canvases being wet (we have storm in here so that explains it).

The canvas is too thin, lightweight. Used for acrylic pouring and these did not hold up very well unless taped first.

I LOVE these canvases!! This is my 1st time working with them & have NO COMPLAINTS!! I ordered "used" 1s, where there was supposed to be cosmetic damage!! Ok, thot I'd take a chance, only 12$!! There was only 1 small rip, and I glued that then painted over it, after detailed inspection, it was VERY difficult to find!! I was plsd. Since then I've ordered 2 more, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with canvas, won't know for sure about next order, but figure this is pretty good buy, especially since prices keep chging!!! They're flying outta here as fast as I can paint them. But maybe if you sell your painting you might be a little leary of buying "used", I highly recommend giving it a try...what can it hurt???, you're gonna paint on it any!! Be brave!! 😊
