How to Love Yourself Cards: Self-Love Cards with 64 Positive Affirmations for Daily Wisdom and Inspiration Cards – July 17, 2018

If you want to reprogram your brain, and change the tape player in your head and how you've been talking to yourself, especially if you're working to change a lifetime of negative self-talk, perfectionism, depression, or stress from things like PTSD, get this deck.I'm going through a difficult time, and I am working to use neuroplasticity to my advantage. Neuroplasticity refers to the fact that we can 'reprogram' our brains by changing our thought patterns. Each time we reinforce something, our brain sticks on it harder, coming back to it over and over again, especially in times of stress. If we change that self-talk, though practice, we're changing what our brain focuses on, and in a sense reprogramming it. Those neural connections get strengthened and the old negative patterns we're replacing weaken.These cards are set up to do that. They have "I" statements, so when you read it to yourself you are claiming the thought pattern as your new pattern, and addressing how you see yourself. The quotes are concise and perfect in length. One side of each card has a short sentence that is quite general, and the other side has a sentence or two that are related but more specific. I'm not spiritual or into woo so I'm not a fan of the few that say "the universe" as if it is sentient, but even on those the other side usually has something that's not anthropomorphic, or is general enough that you can divorce it as a concept from its attempt at anthropomorphism and still get something out of it. There are a couple statements about forgiving and let go of everything, but I look at forgiveness differently than many people. I am not actively angry, but I also will not forgive people who should not be forgiven. So, I dislike the wording on some of those too.If you're religious, you probably won't have my issues with a few of the quotes.Overall these cards are fantastic. Just what I was looking for to reprogram my thought process, and I'll be using them for a while. I pull one out for each day. They have nice visuals as well, with good design.I tried a bunch of decks for this purpose, but none of the others are very helpful. There are others with Louise Hay quotes but none of them come close to these, either for the quotes included or for the design elements. These were done professionally, and are a joy to interact with.This is the one to spend your money on!

I just love these!! Such an awesome set of cards by Louise Hay!! Very positive, helpful, fun, inspiring + encouraging… full of wisdoms + truths (but delivered in basic + easy to digest bites) reminding you of a lot of simple but powerful good stuff + advice for living (and that you have to FOCUS on it!) and it’s definitely a reminder of just how important your daily thoughts, self-talk, and everyday kind of beliefs are!!This card set is altogether aesthetically pleasing… just beautifully curated + designed from the inside out. The box is filled with a lot of cards; each + every card has two awesome + unique affirmations/mantras (or whatever you’d like to call them), one on the front and one on the back… along with many variations of cool graphic design art backgrounds as well. Love the feel, colors, + balance on each card + how it all flows together throughout the whole deck.Oh! The physicality + quality are great too… I like the card size @ like 3.75” x 3.75”, good thickness and shape (square with rounded edges); def seem sturdy + durable for long use (have had mine a few years, still look + feel brand new). The box they come in is thick + sturdy and has a whole flip top opening for easy everyday use + storage.Definitely glad I have these cards and I highly recommend them!!

I use the he cards primarily to jump start my day and I have shared them with hundreds of clients. The card are on good card stock and can be used for years.

I love this cards! I work with several groups (meditation groups and classes that I do with companies and coaching sessions too) and I use this card as a gift from the Universe or the subconscious mind (it depends of what people believe). Last Friday I do two classes sessions for a company and I say to then: I going to give you a gift, a change in your perception of a situation. Close your eyes and think about a situation you have with you, with someone or a problem that is happening and you are involved. Then take a deep breath and open your eyes. I scramble the cards in front of then, I didn't tell then what It is, what is the cards about I just scramble then I stand in front of one by one and make then pick one card and wait with the card without read it until everybody has a card. Then the first one stands up and read him/her card out loud and I ask him/her "did this message change your point of view of the problem or situation you are thinking?" invariably everybody said yes, it does. And for everyone is something amazing, because the message is the right one for them in that particular moment and situation. They ask me how do you do that, someone yesterday tells me "I know you are a wizard". Hahaha. It's just incredible, amazing how this cards works, how they have some kind of connections with the subconscious mind of the universe. Amazing, simply amazing. I love the product itself. I was using this as a gift and it looked like the shrink wrap that it usually comes in had been removed, and the item was in an oversized clear plastic bag. When I gave it as a gift it presented as if i had opened the product previously. That’s the only part that disappointed me. Again the product itself is great.
