Glorious RGB for your computer room!
Razer Aether has transformed my room from a bland white room to a vibrant play space for games and movies! I was able to easily setup Aether with my smartphone and connect it to Razer Chroma on my PC to sync up with my games and movies to give a nice theater-like feel to my setup, it is able to be configured such that it uses the edge of the displays or TV to give a splash of color from the content you are displaying onto the backsplash of your monitor/TV. It really brightens up your space and makes it feel more alive! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to add more vibrant color and life to their play-space!

Not recognized by the Razer Synapse application.
These lights look great, but their functionality is limited by their incompatibility with the Razer Synapse PC app. They're supposedly compatible with the Raze Gamer Room mobile app, but that app's QR code reader doesn't recognize QR codes and these lights don't appear to be Bluetooth compatible. These lights are hardware-ready for PC use, as they have a USB-C power cord. Ironically, their digital functionality seems geared to mobile use. Hopefully, Razer will someday release a patch/update to allow the Synapse app to recognize these lights.

Bright colors, easy to set up and use
These Razer lights work great to add colors and some light to an otherwise dull room. The lights are very easy to set up and to use. Take everything out of the box, and simply press the lights into the bases. Nothing to screw together. They operate via USB-C, so they can easily allow the lighting to operate with a computer (or similar to a TV or anything else with a USB-C port). The USB cables are black, and long enough overall to be located around a computer/monitors setup. They provide a good amount of light (seems like a little more light output as compared to other computer gaming lights that I have). This is great for bouncing light off of walls and into a room. The appearance is a little more basic than my some other lights though. So it really depends on what you want the lights to do, and the aesthetic you are after. As for control of the lights, there is a button at the back of the light that allows you to turn them on/off (short press) or to cycle thru the various colors, or even color shifting up/down (long press). There is no standalone way for changing brightness. If you are looking to add colored LED lights in a gaming area, with ambient light bouncing off of walls this would be a great option. So far they are holding up great and being powered via USB-C makes it easy to power.

Works well with the app. Color difference between the Aether stand light and Aether light bulbs.
I have a Razer Aether light bulb and I'm happy to have seen the app improve over time.Pairing the new Razer Aether stand lights to the Razer app was super quick and easy. Just had to turn on the lights and add it.After pairing I set them to turn on in the morning with a specific color to help wake me up. At night they switch to a different color before bed, and then turning them off is also easy. The physical button on the back is needed for me, and I appreciate that it's there. Sometimes after working long hours at my computer and my eyes start to hurt, it is very convenient to just press the button to turn them off.The main problem I have is that the color sync does not work with the Razer Aether light bulb. (The color difference is too great even if they are on the same color code.)Even manually adjusting them to a similar color is a challenge. Also I wish they could be a bit brighter.Plus there is no plain extra bright light mode like there is on the Razer Aether light bulb. Sometimes it's nice to just set the lighting in my room to a warm bright lighting.

Cool, crisp mood lighting with lots of options.
The media could not be loaded. Cool ambient lighting. I'm not a gamer, so wasn't aware of the whole Razer Synapse ecosystem. Nonetheless, these lights work great for the rest of us. I set them up in my recording studio for some additional mood lighting and was very pleased.Getting the app connected was painless and it offers a fair amount of control. I haven't yet done Alexa/Google integration. But will do that next as my entire Studio (and house) lighting/devices are all controlled that way. Worth noting the lights can still function without the app, but it's absolutely worth getting it connected. The lights themselves were clean and crisp. The App presets were thoughtful and useful. I would prefer a speed control, but luckily Razer chose relaxing transition speeds that'd I'd probably use anyway. . The "fire" and "spectrum" presets were great with the other lights in my studio that do soft moving transitions. When using them as front facing, they weren't blinding, though I chose to use them facing the walls to create a wash.Negatives: A bit pricey, but this is a premium lighting device. All in all ,fun. great looking lighting that really creates a great atmosphere

They look good, app is annoying.
These Razer lights do a great job adding color and vibe to a plain room. Setup is super simple—just pop them into the bases and plug them in via USB-C. They throw out a good amount of light, great for bouncing off walls, and are solid for a gaming setup. There’s a button on the back to turn them on/off and cycle through colors, but no brightness control unless you use the app. Speaking of the app… setup was kind of annoying. You have to use your phone to connect them to WiFi, no direct PC control. Cool features once it’s all connected, like screen-matching effects and animated wallpapers, but it’s a hassle upfront.Overall, they’re fun lights with good features, just be ready for an app-heavy setup process.

High quality
Thes Razer light bars are perfect for competing that perfect gaming rig. The lights are sufficiently bright and give you a full spectrum of color. The connection for powering these is USB-C. The quality of these is excellent as you would expect from the Razer brand.
