The weighted blanket concept is wonderful, but the construction of this is poor. This blanket sheds glass beads and whatever else it's stuffed with CONSTANTLY. I can't even find where it's coming from. I wake up I'm laying in what feels like sand all over my bed. Honestly, I will probably throw it out. It is such a headache, and a complete waste of money.

UPDATE- The seller contacted me and offered me a refund or replacement. I chose the replacement because I really want the blanket. Thats going above and beyond. Awesome company.First, the quality of the material is great. I didn't buy the outer cover and truthfully you don't need it. The color is great and the size is perfect for just me.The issue I have is there doesn't seem to be any weight in the center of the blanket. The edges are all very weighted but in some spots in the center I can't even feel any of the weighted beads.

After only a couple weeks I went to straighten out and it tore like nothing... very disappointed

When I bought this originally, it seemed really nice out of the box and a good value. I placed it inside a blanket cover immediately.2 weeks later, most of the glass filling shifted to the sides from the center, making it lumpy and annoying, but still usable.3 months later, I remove the blanket cover to wash it. Glass sand is leaking from the sides and seams. Not sure what to do with this failed blanket.Don't waste your money on this product.

The sand that is in the pockets has shifted is no longer a weighted blanket. All the sand is in the edge pockets. No use

I’ve a king size bed, but like my own blanket especially when I’m stressed out or overtired.Initially, the 60x80 seemed adequate. However I’m disappointed that the picture shows this blanket cozily covering 2 people and I’m here to say : That definitely wasn’t the 60x80 blanket I received. In fact I doubt anyone could share this blanket at the 60x80 size.HOWEVER *THIS IS IMPORTANT*KEEP READING*That being said for just me it’s perfect. I’m skinny ish, 5’7” and guessing in the 125 range max.I have been trying to remember the last time I slept so soundly, and actually felt rested and I literally can’t.Then I tried this baby out.It’s awesome.Comfortable and cool, I threw a light quilt over it at some point (I keep my AC very low as well) but many blankets say ‘cooling’ and aren’t this one is the best by far.On to some randomness about me: I’m proud to say I have ocd, gad, social anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, depression and a normal night full of fear/terror and waking up sick with anxiety. FROM MY OWN THOUGHTS.Yes, I’m on medication but that WAS a normal night. All these disorders overlap and together make life unbearable and uncomfortable at times. Side effects and bad days mean sleep is precious. I’m not a doctor, but I doubted a blanket with weight would help anxiety in particular.I went to bed with doubts and apprehensive. Nonetheless this blanket surprised me and surpassed my wildest dreams of a blanket. (I have close to 30 and don’t often write reviews so keep that in mind).It’s inconvenient that the duvet is separate. DO NOT BUY! I FOLLOWED THE WASH/DRY INSTRUCTION AND IT THE BEADS CAME OUT IN MY DRYER!!! I HAVE TO TRASH IT NOW. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

This blanket is surprisingly heavy and makes me sleep like a rock. My cats love the glass beads that give it heft and have tried kicking and chewing their way into it, so far without success, so that speaks to the quality. It's a tad small for a queen bed, but I sleep solo so that's okay. I take off a star because the glass things aren't equally distributed--one entire end of the blanket is noticeably heavier than the other. Is this intentional? I've made it work by using the lighter end on warmer nights and the heavier end on cooler nights. Overall, glad to have a good weighted blanket option at a reasonable price.

I'm torn what to write here, I must admit on one hand I do like this blanket and I will be keeping it, however if I had the knowledge back then what I know now I definitely wouldn't of got the 25lbs blanket. Even as a larger male(220+lbs) I find the 25lbs too heavy, however when my girlfriend sleeps over the weight must distribute better as I find it ok then.Overall I would say buy this blanket, but don't go over 20lbs, and maybe even stay at 15...

The weight was not the issue as a blanket was covered by a duvet cover. The size of the blanket itself is bigger than expected. Based on other reviews, I found concerns about the fabric breaking and the beads falling out but I did not find anything that would indicate that.- size is bigger than expected- heavy feelCon:The design of the blanket utilizes larger squares for the design. Although I did not find any faults in the design of the blanket, it is understandable that the larger stitched squares does not allow for quality control for the heavy beads breaking through the material. A suggestion would be to provide more stitching and smaller squares.- large square stitch styles- material of blanket does not feel of high quality- packaging is like a regular blanketOverall:I would suggest that the design of the stitching should be reconsidered to implement smaller squares to improve the quality assurance in the utility of the blanket. Literally slept so well my sleep schedule was thrown off, I usually wake up at the same time every morning and arrive at work for a specific time (Naturally, no alarms). Today I arrived at work over an hour earlier than usual and was confused to say the least, can only assume it's because I didn't wake up through the night at all!

If you have a little one, with sensory processing disorder this is something every parent should try for they child. I held off on getting a weighted blanket, I couldnt ever sleep with one myself and was skeptical. When i seen my son, use multiple blankets to wrap himself tightly and still search for the desired effect/ pressue he was searching for to self sooth and for comfort.It is true to size but i do wish it was wider. He looks so relaxed when he is covered in it and loves of the glass beads keep him cool in the hot hot summer. This was clearly a problem when burying himself in 5 comforters. I myself could never sleep with a 10 pound blanket. But for him, it brings absoult comfort and relaxation. I will always buy him one as he grows through life.

Hi there! I’m a 5’1 158IBS and I bought the 48X72 15 IBS weighted blanket and ordered a separate cover for it. I was picky about getting the right one- Glass Beads, 4 or 3 inch square pockets, good quality, and at least 8 reinforced loops.This is Day 3 or 4 with the blanket sleeping and I think laying on my back with the weight is keeping my spine, neck, elbows, and knees where it should be... this is making me wake up sore and kinda in pain, but I think this good so I’m not stopping the blanket. I don’t blame the blanket I blame the years sleeping in bad posture.And it’s heavy so at night it can be hard to pick up and move. If this is for someone who is sick or frail, definitely go lighter or else it will be hard to get off to breathe too. (As an asthmatic I have had to take it off my chest but kept it tummy and down. Worked like a charm)Being mindful of your body.All in all, I love the weighted blanket and it helps to ultimately calm me down with a good hug.I feel good and not as angry in the morning. I’ve been called names in the morning in the past. 5/5 would recommend this to all my friends including you.
