I was using silk floss in a plastic container that I would recycle. I never thought about the silk but then saw a review that the silkworms are boiled to get the silk. GROSS! On a hunt through Amazon, I found this floss. Reusable glass container, the feature is tougher than other floss so I feel like my teeth are getting cleaner than with regular floss. It also does not break easily and if it does, there are any little fibers stuck in my teeth. Love this stuff!

This floss is a great biodegradable, non petroleum alternative to the typical mint Reach floss. The tea tree and peppermint essential oils feel nice. I also like the feel of the glass container and appreciate that the container can be refilled.The packaging of the product was all paper products. Sadly, Amazon sent this to me in a giant plastic envelope. Perhaps this can be avoided by purchasing the floss with larger items so items are shipped in a box...One odd thing about this product is that the metal part of the container had a lot of fingerprints on it. It's a bit off putting, but its not that hard to clean it before use.

Very happy with this product! Just as described, I was worried the tea tree and peppermint oils may be too strong for my liking, but I was pleasantly surprised by its mild flavor! Floss strength is excellent and it’s thin enough to fit in tight spaces and slide slightly below the gym line with comfort. Seems to remove the plaque quite well! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to try eco friendly floss!

This floss exceeded our expectations. The floss is thicker than regular wax floss and is more fibrous so it is a very different feel. This however allows it to grab all the gunk out from in between the teeth.I gave it a 5 star flavor rating because the flavor is nearly nonexistent which is perfect and I dont feel heavily flavored floss is necessary nor do I like strong minty flavor.I love the black floss in the cute glass vial and I leave it on the counter as part of my decor. I will definitely continue to buy refills!

So glad to have switched from plastic. Even with my tightly spaced teeth, the floss worked well. I was able to rinse it clean and reuse on different sections without tearing the floss, which means that I could use less and save money since this floss is more expensive than cheap plastic. Happy to have an eco-friendly solution.

This is an awesome product. SO much better than they vinyl junk from the drug store. And you can actually see when your in-between spaces are clean - which you will never be able to determine with slippery white floss.Also, the little glass jar is a delightful blast from the past and the package includes another complete spool of floss. One order will last a really long time and adds 0 plastic to the landfill . Buy this.

I searched many products before buying this one. I thought it was expensive but in the long run it has proven to be worth it. I pull about 18 inches off the roll and work all around my teeth, pulling the floss around while working up and down. This has always broken any other floss but this one holds up every time.
