Drinkable, has all the required electrolytes
The electrolyte composition of this is standard recommended by various accredited health organizations. Unlike some competing brands, this one is very drinkable. You certainly won’t have to lock it up but it’s quite tolerable. Packaging is very convenient and easy hidden in my first aid kit.

Delicious, very helpful, very potent and quick acting!
The flavor of these is incredible for an oral rehydration salt. Yes, they are a bit salty of the potassium salt taste, but you get used to it and won't care if you are really in need of oral rehydration. I have had kidney disease in the past and I've been battling easy dehydration and nausea. These have really helped. I found it to be very helpful to use these by adding them to a similar tasting Gatorade or Powerade to help the taste if you don't want just the product in plain water. Very recommended. I feel excellent a few hours after drinking a bottle with this product in it.

Purchased for kids sports for rehydration.
My teens did not like the flavor at all and neither did I BUT it does work to replenish fluids.

LIFE SAVER
after having a hard time readjusting to HUMID weather on a Conference trip -- this item was a sample and after drinking it --- i felt SO MUCH better- I was able to try all the flavors and this was my favorite. Though i did like the unflavored in iced tea ;)My mom is diabetic with some complications and has been able to tolerate it-- she cannot tolerate alot of the "rehydration solutions" and electrolyte powders out there because of the formulations -Some may say its expensive -- however for someone like me who has dysautonomia --- and many of us with this condition use this with little issues -- and I use it for when I am "Low"/near crash vs "maintenance" so its worth it -- It functions for me the way i expect it.I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS !!! :)IMO its MUCH better quality than some of the competition -- it was formulated by pharmacists -- not by corporations.

Handy to keep in your purse and pour into a bottle of water
This post will only reflect my personal opinion of this product. I too, am a POTS patient. I find these packets very convenient to carry with me in my purse and in my car so that I always have access to rehydration salts. The packets don't break open easily so that you don't have the salt all over the inside of your purse. However, you can manage to tear the packets open when you need them. The taste is the most palatable of any of the rehydration salts I have tried. I have tried many. I prefer the orange and grape. In the past I've tried adding it to some vitamin water zero for some extra flavor and vitamins. I can easily pour these salts into a standard bottle of water and shake it up and mix it and drink it when I need rehydration. As they said in another post, I wish it was sold in bulk. Using these salts has kept me out of the emergency room more than once. It is far easier to drink this when you are starting to get dehydrated, than wait till it is impossible to get IV access because of dehydration, for a normal saline infusion. I personally think that hospitals should carry these as well. Currently the only options that they have for oral rehydration is grape juice, apple juice, cranberry juice or Pedialyte Popsicles. That is hardly a good way to rehydrate a dehydrated person. For me, NormaLyte is one of the best rehydration solutions around.

Great source of hydration
I am a flight attendant and I put a sachet in a larger water bottle. Keeps me hydrated for the day while in the air.

Works Great but too Expensive
I have a chronic condition that causes low blood pressure among other things. It works quickly and I usually feel better minutes after drinking it. I like the orange flavor the best. It is also incredibly convenient to keep a couple packages in my purse. If I was using this for recovering from the flu or from a hangover, NormaLyte would be perfect. I wouldn't need them daily. Since I do need them daily, sometimes two or three on a bad day; it isn't cost effective. NormaLyte is just too expensive. I will go back to drinking V-8 juice. It has the sodium and potassium I need with less calories. Having a chronic condition usually means you have to count every penny, which makes products like this a Godsend that you have to figure out how to live without.
